Chen Guangyuan's former residence is a two-story, partial three-story European modern style building. The architectural style is unique, dignified and magnificent.

Chen Guangyuan, named Xiufeng (1873-1939), was born in cuihuangkou, Wuqing County, Tianjin. In his early years, he graduated from Tianjin Wubei school, followed Yuan Shikai and Feng Guozhang as the backbone of the direct Department of the Northern Warlords. He served as governor of Jiangxi Province for many years. In 1922, he was defeated by the Northern Expedition army of Guangdong and left his post. With nearly ten million yuan of property, he lived in a villa on Yantai Road in the British concession of Tianjin. Later, he invested a lot of money to build a second luxury villa here. In addition, he also bought a lot of real estate, invested in enterprises, opened banks and pawnshops, and lived a comfortable life as an apartment. Chen Guangyuan died in August 1939.
