Boar forest is a typical karst funnel forest. From the bottom of the funnel to the edge of the mountain in the sky, the forest is heavily overlapped. In the lower part of the funnel, hundreds of acres of bamboos grow in the trees. The funnel is like a green vortex, floating above the forest. On both sides of the ditch at the bottom of the funnel, all the trees incline to the center of the ditch, which is very thought-provoking. What's more, all the trees are covered with flocculent pines. Looking from afar, they are like wild people covered with fluffy hair. When they come here, they may return to ancient times. In the past, wild boar rushed to the forest and ate on bamboo shoot roots, so the name of wild boar forest came from it.

The origin of allusions
The story of Beijing Opera "wild boar forest" is based on the classic Chinese Literature "outlaws of the marsh". Its content is that in the Northern Song Dynasty, Lin Chong, the head of 800000 imperial guards in Tokyo, was framed by Taiwei Gao Qiu and distributed to Cangzhou. Gao Qiu also orders Xie Chai to kill Lin Chong in the wild boar forest. He doesn't want to be rescued by Lin Chong's sworn brother Lu Zhishen. Later, in the mountain temple, Lin Chong stabbed his enemy Lu Qian and went to Liangshanpo in the wind and snow. Yang Xiaolou, the great master of wusheng, was the first to put this story on the stage of Beijing opera. He and puxu (a hermit of Qingyi) Co edited and created the Peking Opera mountain temple, which was later changed to wild boar forest. Yang Xiaolou played Lin Chong, and Hao Shouchen, the founder of Hualian Hao school, played Lu Zhishen, which was well-known in the drama world. In the late 1940s, Li Shaochun, a famous Peking opera performing artist, reorganized the play and performed in Shanghai Tianchan stage with Yuan Shihai, a descendant of Hao school, and Du JinFang, a descendant of Mei school. Later, Li Shaochun revised the play many times, making it perfect day by day and becoming one of the excellent Peking Opera repertoires in the 1950s.
