Dangbi Town is located on the North Bank of Xingkai Lake, 42 km away from Mishan town, 132 ° 4 'e and 45 ° 59' n. It is 36 km from Mishan, 120 km from Jixi and 300 km from Mudanjiang. Since 1889, there have been residents living in Dangbi Town, which was called "kuaidangbie" at that time. By 1912, the population moved in one after another, and the town also had the rudiment of Commerce. By 1917, the population gradually increased. In 1927, the town began to take shape, 3 li from north to south, 4 li from east to west. Shops in the town became more and more prosperous. The trade between China and the Soviet Union began to flourish. China mainly exchanged soybean exports for daily necessities. The prosperous period here lasted from 1926 to 1934. In 1933, the Japanese army occupied the northeast border of China and gradually implemented the border blockade, which restricted the trade between China and the Soviet Union.

In 1935, both sides set up border cards to carry out strict inspection. The tariff on grain exports also increased, and the trade volume became less and less. In June 1941, the Japanese army began to purify the border, burning down all the guards of Dangbi Town, and the residents scattered. From then on, Dangbi Town became nominal.

Since 1985, the 8510 farm in Heilongjiang reclamation area began to develop tourism in Dangbi Town. With its beautiful natural scenery and long history, it has attracted thousands of tourists from all over the world. In 1992, Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation established an economic cooperation zone in Dangbi Town, and in 2000, it developed into the only Tourism Development Zone in the province. Today, Dangbi Town has become an important border town integrating tourism, vacation, leisure and international trade.

Dangbi Town was established in the Xianfeng Period (1851-1861) of the Qing Dynasty. In 1908 (the 34th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty), it was one of the three towns in Mishan. It was a private border trade port under the jurisdiction of Mishan Prefecture. During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of baipaozi. After the fall of Northeast China, Dangbi Zhenbao was set up, and later Xingkai village was established. Because it was a military restricted zone, the village was burned down by the Japanese army. After 1958, it was the site of state farm. In August 1988, Dangbi Town was set up, and Qingsheng village and the second branch of 8510 farm in sansuotong Township were divided into administrative areas of Dangbi Town. There are 8510 farms in the territory. A tourist area has been built on the Bank of Xingkai Lake. A highway bridge is built on the Bailing River. It connects Russia in the South and Mishan town in the north. It has become a border port town of Mishan. Export goods are mainly textile products and agricultural products.
