XIATE Kirgiz Township
Kirgiz township of XIATE nationality in Zhaosu county is located 82 kilometers southwest of Zhaosu County, covering an area of 1061.52 square kilometers. It governs 13 administrative villages, and XIATE village is the seat of township government. When the township was established on November 8, 1984, it was called qiongmuzate Yinge aireke Kirgiz Township, and later changed to XIATE Kirgiz township. The total population is 14417 (2017).
