Donghai Bridge
East Sea Bridge is a cross sea passage connecting Nanhui new town in Pudong New Area of Shanghai and Yangshan town in Shengsi County of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in Yangshan deep-water port of Hangzhou Bay, Zhejiang Province, China. It is an integral part of the South Port Branch of Hulu expressway;
It is also one of the key supporting projects of Yangshan Deepwater Port.
The Donghai Bridge was first built on June 26, 2002; on May 25, 2005, the whole line of Donghai Bridge was completed and the completion ceremony was held;
On December 10, 2005, Donghai Bridge was officially put into operation.
Donghai Bridge starts from Luchao port in Shanghai in the north, passes through the northeast of Hangzhou Bay in the East China Sea in the south, and ends at Yangshan Deepwater Port in Zhejiang Province;
The total length of the line is 32.5 km, the main bridge is 25.3 km, and the bridge deck is a two-way six lane Expressway with a design speed of 80 km / h;
The total investment of the project is 7.11 billion yuan;
The chief designer of the project is Lin Yuanpei.
Construction process
On June 29, 2001, "expert consultation and review meeting on feasibility study report of Luyang bridge in Yangshan deep water port" was held in Shanghai Minhang Wisteria hotel; on July 6, "consultation meeting on navigation hole standards and technical requirements of Luyang bridge in Yangshan deep water port" was held in Shanghai Port Authority; on December 27, the design scheme of navigation hole clearance size of Daqiao and the relocation of East China Sea Fleet training ground were supported by the Navy headquarters .
On January 11, 2002, "Luyang sea crossing bridge engineering investigation scheme bidding expert review meeting" was held; on January 16, the water transport department of the Ministry of communications of China hosted the "Luyang sea crossing bridge navigation standard demonstration meeting"; on April 8, "Donghai Bridge Pile Test ceremony" was held at the construction site of Luchao port; on May 7, Donghai Bridge construction scheme collection review meeting was held, with Academician Li Guohao as the group On May 18, the preliminary design scheme comparison and evaluation meeting of Donghai Bridge was held to determine that Shanghai Municipal Engineering Institute and Daqiao Institute jointly undertake the engineering design; on June 26, the piling of the offshore section of Donghai Bridge began, marking the commencement of the construction of the bridge.
On June 29, 2003, the 587 meter long steel trestle of Donghai Bridge in the shallow sea section of bid I was completed; on July 11, the largest prefabricated pier in China was installed on the pier of pier 289 of Donghai Bridge, and the construction of the superstructure of the offshore section of the bridge began; on September 18, the portal website of Shanghai Tongsheng Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. "Donghai Bridge Engineering Information Network" was officially opened; On September 30, the "Little Swan" large floating crane with a lifting capacity of 2500 tons completed the trial erection of the 70 meter box girder, marking the completion of the main operation processes of the non navigable part of Donghai Bridge, such as pile sinking, casing installation, bearing platform construction, pier body installation and box girder erection.
On April 3, 2004, the closure ceremony of Donghai Bridge seawall project was held; on May 22, the construction of Donghai Bridge offshore pile sinking was completed; on August 26, the main pylon of Donghai Bridge Main Navigable span cable stayed bridge was capped; on August 30, the foundation project of Donghai Bridge Offshore non navigable span was completed; on September 23, more than 40 international bridge experts visited Donghai Bridge during the period of international bridge and Engineering Association; on December 30, 2004, more than 40 international bridge experts visited Donghai Bridge On the 24th, Donghai Bridge and Xiaoyangshan port area completed docking.
On March 29, 2005, the construction of Donghai Bridge was transferred from the main structure to the auxiliary engineering, and the asphalt concrete was laid on the bridge deck; on April 8, the closure of the last auxiliary navigation hole of Donghai Bridge was completed; on May 3, the closure of Kezhushan cable-stayed bridge of Donghai Bridge was completed; on May 20, the structural engineering of main navigation hole cable-stayed bridge of Donghai Bridge was completed; on May 22, the non navigation hole bridge of Donghai Bridge was completed On May 25, Donghai Bridge held a ceremony to connect the whole line; on July 7, in order to cooperate with multinational maritime agencies participating in the East China Sea Search and rescue exercise, Donghai Bridge sub headquarters opened the deck traffic to the exercise vehicles; on September 29, Donghai Bridge completed 32.5Km asphalt paving, and the light was on that night for test;
On December 10, Donghai Bridge was opened to traffic.
Bridge location
Donghai Bridge is located between Nanhui new town (formerly Luchaogang town) in the southeast of Pudong New Area of Shanghai and Yangshan Town, Shengsi County, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. The bridge starts from the old flood prevention dike about 4km east of Luchaogang community in the north, passes through the new flood prevention dike in the South, crosses the Northeast sea area of Hangzhou Bay, and ends at the rugged archipelago in the northwest of Zhoushan archipelago in the south, passing through the big turtle island and the Pearl Island in turn After Zhushan Island, it ends at Xiaoyangshan island.
As of 2013, Donghai Bridge is an integral part of Hulu Expressway < I (Shanghai Expressway S2) < / I; the north end of the line connects the north section of HuLong Expressway and Shanghai Ring Expressway < I (National Expressway G15 < sub01 < / sub) < / I at the Haibin dating overpass in Pudong New area, and the east ring to South Ring corner section of Shanghai ring expressway. It is connected with Nanlu highway and Lianggang Avenue in Nicheng town and Nanhui new town respectively The southern end of the line connects xuanzhu road at big turtle island and Donghai Avenue at Xiaoyangshan island.

Overall layout
Donghai Bridge is a group project integrating multiple bridges and tunnels. The whole bridge is roughly arranged in the direction of North by west to south by East. From north to south, it is composed of three parts: land section (North approach bridge), sea crossing section (main bridge) and port bridge connecting section (South approach bridge). Among them, the main bridge includes a main channel bridge, three auxiliary channel bridges and a number of non navigable span bridges; the connecting section of the port bridge includes Kezhushan bridge and Xiaoyangshan tunnel, as well as the East and west approach bridges.
Design concept
The appearance of Donghai Bridge takes "Donghai Changhong" as the creative idea, just like a bright rainbow on the East China Sea; the bridge color is the direct expression of the architectural appearance image and the display of the bridge personality, using white and light gray as the main tone of the bridge, making it harmonious with the environment;
The "herringbone" shaped pylons of the main channel bridge are firmly nailed in the middle of the sea, such as "two sea fixing needles";
The whole bridge section is designed as S-shaped curve.
Structural characteristics
The main channel bridge of Donghai Bridge is a continuous multi span cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and single cable plane.
It is the first time to use steel and concrete box girder in long span cable-stayed bridge. The main tower is of reinforced concrete structure, the upper section of the tower adopts inverted Y-shaped structure to adapt to the central cable plane layout, and the lower section adopts solid web wide shoulder pier body; the tower column in the section of the tower body is single box and single room, and the other sections are single box and double room. In order to balance the tension of the stay cables on the tower wall or the unbalanced horizontal force between the side and middle span stay cables, the circumferential prestressed steel bars are arranged in the whole upper tower column.
The stay cable adopts fan-shaped central parallel cable plane, high-strength galvanized parallel steel wire bundle and cold cast anchor, and the outer surface of the stay cable adopts anti wind and rain vibration measures.
Bored pile foundation is adopted for main tower pier and auxiliary pier, and hollow pier is adopted for side pier and auxiliary pier body; concrete anchor beam is set near the bearing platform to anchor the steel strand cable with balanced uplift force, and partial prestressed coarse reinforcement is set at the lower part of the pier body and extended into the bearing platform for anchoring. Fixed anti-collision system is set on both sides of the main tower pier and auxiliary pier bridge axis to resist the impact force of ships. Independent anti-collision piers are set on both sides of the axis of the bearing platform bridge. When the main tower pier and auxiliary pier are hit by a large-scale ship, the anti-collision facilities are damaged to consume energy, so as to reduce the collision force on the pier and ship damage. At the same time, the forward part of the ship is prevented from touching the superstructure of the pier, so as to protect the pile foundation. The vertical and horizontal supports are set at the main tower pier, Auxiliary Pier and side pier, and the hydraulic damping device is used between the main tower and the main beam to limit the longitudinal displacement of the main beam.
The three auxiliary channel bridges of Donghai Bridge are all prestressed concrete continuous girder bridges with variable height, and the main girder is single box single cell and large cantilever box girder; the non Navigable Bridge on the sea is prestressed concrete continuous box girder with equal height, and the main girder is single box single cell and large cantilever box girder. The box girder is equipped with internal prestressed tendons, and the external cable structure is reserved as spare tendons, and the middle one to two piers are provided with fixed supports The land approach bridge adopts prestressed concrete continuous box girder with equal height, the main girder adopts single box double chamber section, and the pier adopts slab pier body.
The main bridge of Kezhushan bridge of Donghai Bridge is a continuous multi span cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and double cable planes. The main beam is made of steel and concrete composite beam, which is bolted and welded box beam. The main tower is similar to the H-shaped reinforced concrete structure. The cable anchorage structure of the main tower adopts the anchorage steel beam structure, and the part is strengthened by prestressed tendons. The stay cables are arranged with fan-shaped dense cables, galvanized parallel steel wire cold cast anchorage is used, and damping device is reserved; the angle expansion joint is used between the stay cables and the transition holes, and the large displacement expansion joint is used between the transition holes and the approach bridge.
Xiaoyangshan tunnel of Donghai Bridge is a five hole and five line tunnel, which is composed of elevated main road tunnel, ground auxiliary road tunnel and pipeline tunnel. Among them, the elevated main road tunnel is a composite middle wall double arch tunnel structure
