Historical legend

Chagong, the young patriarch of the Zhongshan tribe, led the people to fight against it, but they fled because they were outnumbered. In the battle, chaigong was seriously injured. The horses were frightened and fled into a mountain village. They lost their way and ran for several days and nights. Finally, chaigong and his horse fell down beside the rocks. When chagong woke up again, he found that he was lying in a small shed. It turned out that a beautiful girl named Ji Dai saved him and served him for three days and three nights. As a result, the poor bow lived here for half a year. When chagong was found again by several lost clansmen, he found that he was deeply in love with Jidai. But chagong knew his mission. In order to recapture the tribe, he decided to leave Jidai temporarily and promised to marry her again after the war. Although Jidai was reluctant to leave chagong, she knew that chagong belonged not only to her, but also to his people. When she left, Jidai gave the jujube red horse she had raised since childhood to chagong, picked leaves and made saddles herself. During the war, chagong was arrested and killed by the Zhaohu tribe. After the unification of Sushen ancient country, he took refuge in the dog warlord. The people who sent bow found his body, buried him at the foot of Daheishan, and rode a jujube horse back to Jidai. When Ji Dai saw the red horse covered with blood, she had a premonition of the terrible consequences. On that night, while calling the name of chaigong, she cut the artery with a piece of pottery and died. The blood and body turned into a gurgling River and ran westward through the cemetery of chaigong. The cemetery of chagong is said to be in the area of beixiu park at the foot of Ma'anshan today. Now, when spring comes, the flower in beixiu park is Jidai. She calls the name of chagong in the spring breeze, blooming for him and singing for him.
