brief introduction
Qingyun cave is located in the scenic spot of Qingyun cave on the West Bank of Xiqiao Town, Nanhai County, Guangdong Province.
The Qingyun cave Taoist temple in Nanhai (Nanhai County, today's Nanhai District) has a long history. It was founded in the 19th year of Guangxu. It is said that the plague was prevalent in the mountain area at the age of Jiazi. Over the years, the local good channel leader followed the orders of his ancestors and found a place to build a cave (the larger religious buildings in Taoism are called caves). When you visit Yinkeng Valley, you can see that the waterfall here is flying, the sound of water is like thunder, and there is a unique cave, just like the immortal Dong mansion. When you arrive at the current site of Qingyun cave, you can see that there is a peak in front of you. The two peaks on the left and right are embracing each other. The two flowing springs meet along the stream, sighing that "there is no Penglai realm of heaven and earth." that is to say, you have chosen the site of Taoist temple.
scenery
Along the mountaineering path of Qingyun cave, the mountains on both sides are verdant, the streams and waterfalls, and the wind blows. When you enter the gate and stand on the front steps of the hall, you can see clearly: tamshi mountain on the left, Fuxiang mountain on the right, and Qingyun cave surrounded by two mountains. In front of the main entrance, two hundred year old ancient Chinese fir trees, known as "Yin Yang tree", stand upright. Under the Qingyun cave, there is "Yin Yang Taiji water" -- two streams running down from the left and right sides of Qingyun cave and converging in front of Qingyun cave, making Qingyun cave like a flying cloud. It's amazing that nature is so ingenious! Here you can hear the evening drum and morning bell and watch the mountain worship performance. You are also lucky to be here with the famous master Taoist priest, who is over 80 years old.

Qingyun cave belongs to the west coast, since its establishment is an integral part of the South China Sea (today's South China Sea)
The West Bank was once called the five treaties. After the 13th year of the Republic of China (1924), Nanhai (Nanhai county) in Guangdong Province was located on the West Bank of Xijiang River, so it was renamed the West Bank. There are 17 settlements, which are scattered between the South Bank of the lower reaches of Cangjiang River and the northern foot of Chashan mountain. It mainly produces rice, pond fish, vegetables, sugarcane, plantain and silver needle tea.
During the Anti Japanese War, Nanhai county government moved to Xinxu, Yinkeng and Gongxi on the West Bank. Xinxu was completed in 17. During the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, the sixth detachment of the central Guangdong column led by the CPC was active in the area of Chashan, and its headquarters was located in Qingyun cave.
