Covering a total area of 40000 square meters, the park is the first park along the Great Wall named after the Great Wall.
The park is composed of Polu fire square, golden Great Wall and beacon.
The theme square of Bolu fire is centered on the bronze statue of Bolu fire, a famous founding general in the early Jin Dynasty. The bronze statue is the heroic image of Bolu fire who patrols the border immediately in military uniform.
The bronze statue is located on a huge stone tablet. On the front, the black marble inscription "jindongbei road Taizhou Dutong paluhuo" is engraved. On the back, the life and career of general paluhuo is engraved. The base of the bronze statue is 14.5 meters high as a whole. Four bronze like reliefs on the four sides of the base represent the magnificent scenes of the military and civilian reclamation, the construction of the great wall and the herding and hunting of the Nuzhen people more than 800 years ago, and summarize the historical achievements of the Nuzhen people in building the Great Wall. The four corners of the base are equipped with four unearthed relics of the Jin Dynasty as auspicious gifts, which are simple in shape and vividly display the cultural and artistic works of the Jin Dynasty. They are: bronze mirror, marching pot, oil lamp stand, wax stand. On the east side, there are four stone totem pillars with a height of 6 meters, which show the belief and ideal world of the Nuzhen people, and also set off the great height of the bronze statue of Bolu. Carved with the four gods of green dragon, white tiger, Xuanwu and rosefinch, praying for blessing in spring and autumn, and symbols of agricultural civilization such as cattle, horses, sheep and furniture. The reasonable greening of the central square fully shows the oasis in the desert of the border. The cultural stones scattered in the green field, integrating poetry, calligraphy and stone carving, show the epic civilization of the northern nation.
According to reports, Luo Zhewen, a famous expert in the history of Liao and Jin Dynasties, wrote an inscription for the completion of the Great Wall Ruins Park.
Construction background
The great wall of the Jin Dynasty is considered as an important defense project of the Jin Dynasty. It was built because there was a Nuzhen people's Wanyan Aguda tribe in the Songhua River Valley of Heilongjiang Province. The Nuzhen people lived in the Songhua River Valley with forests, grasslands and fields. They could hunt, raise livestock and cultivate land. The climate is mild, the soil is fertile, the water source is abundant, the grass quality is fine, is a advantaged most suitable place to live. Because of the favorable weather, location, and people, the Nuzhen people gradually became strong. In 1115, they established their capital in Acheng, Heilongjiang Province, which was called "Huining", and the name of the country was called Jin. In 1121 ad, the rise of Mongolia, that is, the later Yuan Dynasty, in the face of the rising Jin, launched a comprehensive war, and sent troops to attack Jin many times. In order to resist foreign invasion, Po Lu Huo, the founding Minister of Jin Dynasty, led more than 100000 soldiers and civilians to build the "border trench" military defense project. At that time, people called the defense project "border trench". The construction of the "border trench" started in 1138 (Xizong) during the reign of Jin Tianjun and was completed in 1198, which lasted for 60 years.
According to the history of the Jin Dynasty, the great wall of the Jin Dynasty can be roughly divided into four roads: Northeast Road, linhuang Road, Northwest Road and Southwest Road. The golden Great Wall in Heilongjiang Province is a section of the Northeast Road. In Nianzishan section of the golden Great Wall, military facilities such as beacon, border fort and enemy tower (horse face) are basically well preserved. The remains of the great wall are still more than 3 meters high, and the orderly arrangement of enemy platforms at 80 meters is still indistinct. The Great Wall was rammed with clay as the main material. More than 800 years of wind, sand and rain made the great wall collapse gradually, and part of the wall was covered with weeds.
The east end of jinbianhao Northeast Road starts from the West Bank of Nenjiang River, 8km away from the northern suburb of Nierji Town, Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner. It extends from the southwest to Arong Banner, and then from Arong Banner to xiangyangyu township to Dahewan Town, Zhalantun City, connecting four townships and four towns. It is 140km long in Zhalantun City, 30km long in Nianzi mountain area of Heilongjiang Province, and 30km long in halantun city More than 75 kilometers south of the river into the Xing'an League zalaite banner, from there has been extended to the western Inner Mongolia Hetao, a total length of more than 5000 kilometers. The golden Great Wall has become the boundary between Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province.
