Deerbur means "broad valley" in Ewenki language. Deerbur town is named after deerbur river. Deerbur town is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Genhe City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. Located in the west slope of the north section of Daxing'an Mountains, 70 km away from Genhe City. The total area is 2426.84 square kilometers, accounting for 12.89% of the city's total area. Population 12339 (2017).

Evolution of organizational system
On January 23, 1958, the Forestry Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region submitted the "design assignment of Inner Mongolia deerbur forestry bureau" in the form of "(58) neisenmi Zi No.3"; on April 10, 1958, the State Development Planning Commission approved the construction of the Bureau in the form of "(58) jijisenzi no.420"; on April 18, 1958, the Forestry Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region approved the construction of the Bureau The Ministry of forestry of Japan approved the establishment of deerbur forestry bureau with the document of "(58) Lin Ji Chang Zi No. 24", and entrusted the former Guna forestry bureau to be responsible for the preparatory work.
In June of the same year, the mining and Transportation Design Institute of the Ministry of forestry, under the guidance of experts from the Soviet Union, completed the design assignment of the derbuhr Forestry Bureau, with the designed annual production capacity of 240000 cubic meters and the production cycle of 40 years.
On July 13, the derpur Forestry Bureau was officially established (October 1 was later determined as the anniversary of the establishment of the Bureau). In August, deerbur forestry bureau moved from Sanhe Town of Erguna Right Banner to deerbur town of Erguna Left Banner.

On August 1, 1969, according to the provisions of the central government on changing the administrative divisions of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hulun League was put under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province. The name of deerbur Forestry Bureau was changed to Revolutionary Committee of deerbur Forestry Bureau of Heilongjiang Province, which was subordinate to Revolutionary Committee of Yakeshi Forestry Administration of Heilongjiang Province.
On September 13, 1978, the Revolutionary Committee was abolished and renamed deerbur Forestry Bureau of Heilongjiang Province. On July 1, 1979, Hulun League was transferred to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The forestry bureau of deerbur in Heilongjiang Province was renamed Inner Mongolia deerbur Forestry Bureau, which is subordinate to Yakeshi Forestry Administration of Ministry of forestry.

On January 1, 1987, with the approval of the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the title of Daxinganling Forestry Administration Bureau was restored. The full name of deerbur forestry bureau is Inner Mongolia Daxinganling Forestry Administration Bureau, and it is still called Inner Mongolia deerbur Forestry Bureau.
On February 15, 1998, Inner Mongolia deerbur Forest Industry Co., Ltd. was established. It retains the name of Inner Mongolia deerbur Forestry Bureau and is subordinate to China Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group Co., Ltd.
