Jiamusi Museum
Jiamusi museum is the largest museum in Sanjiang area of Heilongjiang Province. With a construction area of 5500 square meters, the museum officially opened on December 27, 2003. It is the largest comprehensive museum in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, with exhibition halls of basic situation of Jiamusi, ancient cultural relics, modern history, folk custom, natural resources, Hezhe Nationality and educated youth.
Introduction to Museum
Jiamusi museum is the Central Museum of the eastern region of Heilongjiang Province, with a construction area of 5500 square meters and a collection of 2111 cultural relics. The museum is divided into six exhibition halls, including Jiamusi basic situation exhibition hall, folk custom exhibition hall, ancient cultural relics exhibition hall, modern cultural relics exhibition hall, Hezhe Nationality exhibition hall and natural resources exhibition hall. It reflects the historical features, cultural landscape, regional characteristics of Jiamusi and the contribution of people of all ethnic groups to the motherland in history. It condenses the evolution of economy, politics, culture, nature, humanities and history in Sanjiang area, and is an important position for patriotism education and revolutionary tradition education to the masses.
It was officially opened on December 27, 2003, receiving free visitors all year round. In August 2004, the Museum held a second exhibition of "exhibition hall of ancient cultural relics" and "exhibition hall of modern history", which brought the exhibition level to a new level.

There are six basic exhibition halls in Jiamusi Museum, including basic situation exhibition hall, ancient cultural relics exhibition hall, modern history exhibition hall, folk custom exhibition hall, natural resources exhibition hall and Hezhe Nationality exhibition hall. The exhibition hall covers an area of 1706 square meters and displays 1579 collections.
Jiamusi exhibition hall: located in the main hall on the first floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into 12 units, showing the basic situation of Jiamusi from the geographical location, Sanjiang wetland, cultural landscape, urban change and other aspects. The exhibition hall is equipped with large-scale urban planning map, vision map and large-scale wall carvings: the first city in the East and the model city of double support. There are 74 pictures on display.
Folk custom exhibition hall: located in the West Hall on the first floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into three units, showing the folk customs of the Han, Korean and Manchu nationalities in Northeast China from the aspects of costumes, dwellings, folk crafts, diet, etiquette and production tools. There are 107 pictures and 324 cultural relics on display.
Exhibition hall of ancient cultural relics: located in the West Hall on the second floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into eight units, which comprehensively shows the historical process and material and cultural relics from the primitive society to the Sanjiang plain at the end of the Qing Dynasty. There are 52 pictures and 641 cultural relics on display.
Exhibition hall of Hezhe Nationality: located in the Central South Hall on the second floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into five units, showing the historical changes and production life of Hezhe Nationality from the aspects of history, sports art, fishing and hunting life, spiritual belief, etc. There are 30 pictures and 206 cultural relics on display.
Exhibition hall of modern history: located in the East Hall on the second floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into five units, showing the magnificent historical process of the people of all nationalities in Sanjiang resisting the Japanese invasion, resisting the dictatorship of the Kuomintang and carrying out socialist construction under the leadership of the Communist Party of China since 1921. There are 190 pictures and 272 cultural relics on display.
Exhibition hall of natural resources: located in the East Hall on the first floor of the museum, the exhibition is divided into six units, fully displaying Jiamusi wildlife and forest resources, land and mineral resources, water resources and aquatic resources, plant resources and tourism resources. There are 129 pictures and 285 exhibits on display.
Jiamusi museum now has a collection of 226 pieces, which can be divided into ancient, modern and contemporary cultural relics according to time. The collection covers a wide range of categories, including stone tools, iron, jade, calligraphy and painting, porcelain, miscellaneous goods and so on.
In order to enrich the amateur cultural life of the people in Jiamusi, the museum, while completing the basic exhibition, holds various forms of temporary exhibitions loved by the masses. By the end of 2007, the museum had held more than 20 large temporary exhibitions, such as "Jiamusi Friendship Exhibition", "fine brushwork painting exhibition for the elderly in the whole city", "educated youth exhibition in Beidahuang", "calligraphy and painting couplet Photography Exhibition for the elderly in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in the whole city", "Urban Artists' works exhibition of Amur Communist Youth in Russia" and "Zhang Wentian's life photo exhibition" Advanced socialist culture, carry forward the theme of the times, enhance the cultural and artistic quality of citizens, and promote the social harmony and progress of Jiamusi City have made positive contributions.
Jiamusi City has collected more than 100 cultural relics from Jinkou Ethnic Township, bacha Hezhe Township and Sipai township of Raohe in Tongjiang street. Among them, 6 unearthed cultural relics were used in the daily life of early Hezhe people, including stone axes, stone knives, birch skin products, wood products, harpoons for fishing in winter, ice sticks, foreign guns and so on. At the same time, there are more than 100 pieces of folk cultural relics from Jiejinkou, bacha and other ethnic areas.
