Heilongjiang Institute of Business

In 1952, the Ministry of education, the Northeast People's government and the Harbin Municipal People's government agreed that the predecessor of the school, Harbin Commercial middle school, was established.

In 1953, the Ministry of trade of Northeast People's government decided to establish Harbin business school on the basis of Harbin business school.

On May 1, 1955, the Ministry of Commerce rebuilt Harbin Commercial School into Harbin Commercial School in Heilongjiang Province.

On March 28, 1956, the Ministry of Commerce decided to change Harbin Business School of Heilongjiang Province into Harbin department store and cultural goods technical school of Heilongjiang Province.

On May 14, 1957, the Department of Commerce of Heilongjiang Province decided to change the name of the school to Harbin Industrial Commodity school.

On September 11, 1958, with the approval of Heilongjiang Provincial People's Committee, Heilongjiang business college was officially established.

In 1959, the school developed China's first model 601 dumpling machine. In the late 1950s, Chlorella vulgaris was used to solve the problem of the harm of alternative food to human health.

Heilongjiang Finance College

In March 1956, the Finance Department of Heilongjiang Province submitted to the provincial people's Committee for approval to establish the finance cadre school of Heilongjiang Province.

Harbin University of Commerce

On October 24, 2000, the Ministry of Education approved the merger of Heilongjiang Finance College and Heilongjiang business college to establish Harbin Business University.

In 2008, the school's "economic and management comprehensive practice center" was approved as a national experimental teaching demonstration center.

 

In 2009, the school won the second prize of national teaching achievement for the first time.
