Furong spring water level is not affected by the season, known as "Shenquan.". In Furong street, this is a small spring hidden in the city. Different from the hustle and bustle of Furong street, Furong spring is very quiet. The landmark stone tablet of Furong spring also leans on the roadside in a low profile.
Furong spring
Furong spring is located in front of No.69 Furong street, Jinan. It is a long stone pool, 10 meters long, 5 meters wide and 3 meters deep. The middle of the pool spans a stone bridge. Granite railings stand on the north side of the pool. The south wall of the pool is engraved with the famous calligrapher Wei Qihou's "Furong spring" stele and Ming Yanbi's "Furong spring" verse. Lotus, also known as lotus in ancient times. In the Qing Dynasty, Furong pavilion was built by the spring. I don't know who named Furong Pavilion. Dong Yun, a poet of Qing Dynasty, once lived here and wrote Furong spring residence. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, a section of spring stream from Furong spring to panchi was called "Tiyun stream".
Historical records
The bridge on the stream is built with a memorial archway, with the title "tengjiaoqifeng" on the forehead, implying its prosperous future. In the early years of the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, the scenery gradually declined. The Tiyun river was changed into an underground ditch, covered with bluestones. All the bridges and squares were destroyed, and only the Furong spring pool remained. Furong spring was listed among 72 Famous Springs in Jin, Ming and Qing Dynasties. In Laocan's travels, Jinan is described as "every spring has its own water, and every household has its own water". Among the 72 springs, Furong spring is the only one that really springs in the courtyard.
Spring of the same name
Jinan has been rich in water since ancient times, and "half of the city is protected by Lotus". Lianzi lake, Daming Lake, BaiHuaZhou lake, Zhuoying lake and so on, with sparkling water and lush hibiscus. Lotus is another name for lotus, also known as the name of spring, "said lotus, bright to Yan also" (Qing Dynasty Hao Zhigong 72 springs in Jinan). There are four springs in Jinan called Furong spring.
Daizong street has a North Furong spring in front of the Shuiyuan official Temple. Wang Xiangchun, a poet of the Ming Dynasty, has a saying: "the North Furong on the left side of Bixia palace, the deep reed and barren cottage close the milk bell." At that time, this area was a lakeside wetland with reeds and lotus swaying in the Furong pool (commonly called wangbawan). The spring in the east of the pool was also named Furong. It is called beifurong because there was Furong spring in the south. Furong spring in the west of the middle section of Furong street is one of the 72 Famous Springs in Jinan. It is recorded in the famous spring stele of Jin Dynasty and is said to be in front of jiangjiating. During the Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, Yan Bi, a poet, chanted "Furong spring" and said: "the red makeup shines on the clear water, and the autumn river is lonely and westerly." The red makeup here is about the scenery by the spring. Lotus spring East Zhuoying lake, lake lotus water, color spring pool. Its name is the same as that of North Furong spring. When Yan Bi wrote poems by the spring, the palace of King de had not yet been built. Zhuoying lake covered about ten mu, and the lake rippled to the Bank of Furong spring. In the third year of Chenghua (1467), Zhu Jianshu, king of Germany, came to Jinan to take his place. He built his mansion with pearl spring as the center. Furong street, named after the spring, became the west end of the mansion. Later, Jinan poet Xu Bangcai (named Dianqing, once the right history of Dewang mansion) built Zhantai building in the west of Furong spring and the east of buzhengsi street. Later, Furong spring became the spring of observing Han YingYuan's house. In the Ming Dynasty, Liu Chi's "Li Cheng" recorded: "Furong spring, Han observing house." There are Furong Pavilion and Furong Pavilion beside the spring. "Han YingYuan's Lotus Pavilion is on the lotus pond" (Qianlong's Licheng county annals). Museums and pavilions are named after springs. Tian Wen, a poet from Dezhou (zilun and lunxia, who served as the left servant of the Ministry of punishment and the Ministry of household), inscribed on the wall of Zhantai building during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty: "the clear sky and the clear water in the lake, a cluster of white lotus and countless red dragonflies." Lotus flower is the same thing as lotus flower. At this time, dewangfu was abandoned. Zhou Youde, the governor of Shandong Province, built the governor's Yamen in the former site of dewangfu. Half of Zhuoying lake was cut out of the wall
Outside the lake, the lotus is still in full bloom. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Wang chutong, a native of Jiading, Jiangsu Province, wrote a poem about Zhantai Tower: "Zhantai tower is higher than sizhao tower, and furongquankou is a false hill. When you listen to the ten sticks of Dongdong drum, you will know that it is a boat with six pillars Sizhao building is located in the school department on the South Bank of Daming Lake, which is famous for its tall Cui Wei. Zhantai tower is near the spring and lake, higher than sizhao tower. On Zhuoying lake, Qufu poet Kong Zhaoqian (the character Yuanjing, a Jinshi of Jiaqing and a former political envoy of Guizhou) has a more vivid description: "Zhuoying spring outside Shuixi bridge, the day is warm and the duck is released in autumn. At dusk, the lotus pickers are gone, and the breeze blows to the ferry. " Duck, lotus and boating are just like water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Dong Yun, a plain poet, also lived here in the middle of Qing Dynasty. "Plain vanilla is a poet of today. He has a good demeanor in Qujiang. I left Furong spring by chance, but I refused to leave behind closed doors. " (a poem by Liu Ji'an in Qing Dynasty) Dong Yun is reading and writing here, preparing for the exam. In his guangqiyin, there is a poem "Furong spring apartment": "the old house is half an acre of green moss, and the stone beam floats upstream. A pool of new green Hibiscus water, a few short shade of flowers sitting in the book There is a note before the poem: "the left side of the spring is the former site of the shizhantai building. Stone for the square pool, East and West slightly wide, about half an Mu Xu. There are stone beams in it, and the water flows northward. Shen Huadong's Taishou dredged its canal, which is called "tiyunxi". In the summer of kuichou, Yu lived on the spring for the longest time, and wrote two volumes of a brief history of mountains and rivers under the calendar. " It was the 58th year of Qianlong (1793), and Furong spring looked like this. The excavation of the tiyunxi River by Shen Huadong took place in 1600, the year of gengzi in Wanli, Ming Dynasty. Since then, Furong spring has flowed from the Tiyun River into the pan pool outside the Fuxue Confucian temple. Now, Furong spring has become a street spring, you can enjoy it at will. The Tiyun river has long been transformed into a dark ditch. Not far south from here, in courtyard 132, Furong Street East, there is a South Furong spring called Shenquan, which is 0.6 meters long and 0.5 meters wide. If the water level does not fall, it will not dry up, if the water level does not rise, it will not overflow, and it will remain at 1.8 meters. However, now the water level has dropped by dozens of centimeters. The brick carving engraved with the name of the spring on the wall of the original pool is missing, and the age of the South Furong spring is not clear. Oral history of about one or two hundred years, can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. There is a Guandi temple not far north from Furong spring. When Guan temple was rebuilt in 2009, another Furong spring was found. According to the inscription on the completion of the third year of Jianjiao (1695), which was written in the 34th year of Kangxi reign in the temple, "the hundred year old armory, Feishuang, Furong spring, were injected into the pan palace in the north." In 1889, the complete picture of the streets and alleys of the provincial capital also marked the location of the Guandi temple in Furong street, which was the Furong spring in the Ming Dynasty.
