brief introduction
There is no research on the founding date of Hongmen palace. In front of the palace, there are three stone squares, namely "yitianmen", "Confucius' landing place" and "Tianjie". The palace is divided into two chambers, the East and the West. The main hall of the East is Sanwen, which used to be a Taoist temple. Later, it was dedicated to Maitreya Buddha, commonly known as Maitreya Buddha Hall, with three passing pavilions and three changing pavilions. The main hall of the west is a place for worshiping Bixia Yuanjun, goddess of Mount Tai. There are Heyun pavilions in the South and Qizhi pavilions on the right. The high pavilion between the two courtyards is called "flying cloud Pavilion". You are the arch, and the climbing passage runs through it. Throughout the palace, the holly is green, the peony is gorgeous, the red and green are set off, and the ancient flavor is full of; looking from a distance, you can have a panoramic view of Tai'an, with the morning sun shining on the middle of the mountain every day, and the scenery is extremely magnificent, which is known as the "Red Gate dawn" scenic spot of Mount Tai.
Historical evolution
Hongmen palace is located in the north of daizongfang, the north head of Hongmen Road, Zhongxi in the East and dazangling in the West. The palace is famous for its red stone like door on Lingnan cliff. It was founded in Ming and Qing Dynasties and rebuilt. The temple is divided into two chambers, Maitreya in the East and Hongmen palace in the west, with Feiyun Pavilion in the middle. The main hall of the east courtyard was originally dedicated to Maitreya Buddha, which was destroyed in 1966. In the East, there was a dressing hall, where emperors and officials in the old days went to change their clothes. Now it is a teahouse. In the south, there is a dressing hall. The West courtyard is Yuanjun temple. The main hall was originally dedicated to Yuanjun, Songsheng Niangniang and Guangyan granny. Now it has a bronze statue of Jiulian Bodhisattva. In the west, there is Qizhi Pavilion, which is now Mount Tai scenery photography studio. In the south, there is a hall style tea pavilion. After the main hall is the Zen house and the East and West rooms. Feiyun pavilion was originally dedicated to master Guanyin, but now it is a sightseeing platform.
The three stone squares in front of the palace are like stairs. The former is yitianmen square, which was built in the Ming Dynasty and participated in politics by long Guang. It was rebuilt by Governor Li Shude in the 56th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1717). On both sides are steles with the characters of "wonders of the world" and "panlu Qigong office". Among them are Confucius' visit to Chufang, Zhu Heng, the right deputy governor of Shandong duchayuan, the governor of Jiajing in 1560, and Luo Hongxian, the number one scholar of Jiajing, who wrote: "the king of Qin has passed on the story through the ages alone, and the Holy Lord has come to celebrate thousands of years." The couplet was chiseled out in 1967. Fangxi set up a memorial tablet of cypress planting in Mount Tai written by Jin, the magistrate of Tai'an in the early Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. Later, it was tianjiefang, which was built in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. According to Gao Yingfang's couplet, the censor of Shandong Province, it said: "there is no parallel in the world, and the world is the largest mountain in the world."
One day, the temple of Guandi was built on the west side of the road in front of tianmenfang. It was originally dedicated to Guan Yu, a famous general of Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Shanxi salt merchants often gathered here to worship the God of blessing, so it was also called Shanxi guild hall. It was rebuilt in 1983 and is now the Tai'an training center of the State Administration of cultural relics. There is an ancient cypress in the east courtyard of the temple, and a tablet outside the wall reads "the first Han cypress".
To the East and south of the palace is the white mule tomb site. It is said that Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty took a white mule when he ascended Mount Tai. At this point, the mule died of exhaustion, so he was granted the title of "general white mule" and prepared a coffin to build a grave. Now there is no tomb, only a stone tablet. It is said that it is a white mule tomb tablet. During the period of the Republic of China, Zhao Zhengyin, according to the incomplete characters such as "the first year of chuigong" on the front edge of the stele, identified it as the stele of Dengfeng Ji Hao by Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty. In 1988, it was restored to its original place, but the stele with incomplete characters has become a stele without characters.
On the west side of the palace is the dazangling mountain. On the top of the mountain is a stone house that can store things, so it is named.
There is a huge stone standing behind the palace, engraved with "xiaotai mountain". It is said that it is the incarnation of Bixia Yuanjun. The original Yuanjun temple, where most pilgrims used to burn incense and pray, was destroyed after the founding of the people's Republic of China and rebuilt in 1985. In the west of Shaobei Road, there are 26 steles of "Heshan Huiji" in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, recording the grand occasion of pilgrimage to the mountains in those years. Today, they are called small stele forest.
Hongmen palace is the gateway of Zhongxi in Mount Tai, which is a semi closed concave space. In addition to the three white stone squares and steles in front of the palace, a group of ancient buildings with scattered height, bright colors and the shape of a ladder are formed. Looking from the north of Feiyun Pavilion cave, there are tree lined roads and stone steps. Since ancient times, there has been a scene of "Red Gate dawn". Zhao Guolin, a native of the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem: "climb the Red Gate in the early morning, and let the bright sun shine. Overlooking thousands of families, pingchou is green. "
