Yin Guoquan is the fifth generation descendant of Tiancheng Laodian, a famous and time-honored brand of New Year pictures in Zhuxian Town, Kaifeng County. He has learned the art since childhood, and has fully mastered the engraving, overprint technology and plant dye blending and processing skills of New Year pictures. Since the reform and opening up, almost all the works developed by Zhuxian New Year pictures society are his new version, which has played a key role in the survival and development of New Year pictures in Zhuxian Town .
