Tingzilan battery
Tingzilan fort is located 2.5km south of Langyatai, Jiaonan City, on the North Bank of Zhaitang Island Bay. The time and scale of its establishment are the same as those of gugukou fort. On the south wall of the fort, there is a plaque inscribed with the inscription "Yongzheng Bingwu year (1726)" and the inscription "tingzilan fort" in regular script.
There are 13 infantry and 2 horsemen stationed in the battery. In 1994, Jiaonan Tourism Department restored the fort and made it a tourist attraction. The scale of the new fort is much smaller than that of the original fort. The North-South wall of the fort is 7.45 meters long, the East-West wall is 5.5 meters long, and the height is 5 meters. There are 14 crenels. Four observation holes are set on the East, West, and south sides. 14 steps are built on the north side of the fort to reach the top of the fort. On October 10, 1996, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Jiaonan City.
