Fuguo Park

Fuguo Park, located in Shahekou District of Dalian City, is a comprehensive park.

Introduction to the park

Fuguo Park starts from Fuguo street in Shahekou District in the East and ends at Lianshan street in the west, covering an area of 580000 square meters. There are three peaks in the park from east to west. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can have a bird's-eye view of Xinghai Bay, Xinghai Park and BlackRock reef seashore.

The main functions of the park are "mountaineering, fitness, sightseeing and leisure". A number of mountain forest paths with "one horizontal circle and six vertical" have been built, with a total of more than 7500 extended meters and 2960 steps. The road surface is mainly made of shale board, with bluestone, cobble, gravel and other materials, highlighting the simple and natural style.

Fuguo Park and Xinghai Park, zhonglong Park and Fuguo park provide ideal leisure places for the surrounding residents.

Park upgrade

Fuguo Park was upgraded at the end of October 2013, with the theme of "health and sports". According to the characteristics of the mountain and terrain, the park's function and landscape design will be improved. The park's tour path, fitness place and landscape sketch will be designed and reconstructed, and the park's original railings, roads, steps and pavilions will be repaired to meet the people's needs of rest, exercise, fitness and viewing.

Upgrade highlight 1: interchange of climbing paths

The North Ring Road, which is nearly 1000 meters long, will be rebuilt to connect the entrance of zhonglongyuan and Lianshan street. It will be connected with the original South Ring Road and ridge road to form a ring road. No matter which path you choose, you can visit the whole park.

Upgrade highlight 2: Fitness square

The "huiniatingtao" fitness square is located at the west end of the park's South Ring mountain road, with a wide field and a good view. It uses curved seats to integrate the original trees in the mountain forest, and sets up outdoor fitness equipment. The "Yilin Huaihuai" fitness square is located in the middle of the park's North Ring mountain road, with the original open space leveled, and the ground adopts permeable sports ground and "Bagua sports ground" Combined.

Upgrade highlight 3: sports elements everywhere

The "Hanlin fitness" square is located in the middle of the South Ring mountain road of the park. A standard basketball court will be built by using the gentle open space in the forest. In addition, badminton and table tennis venues, Sports Themed sculptures and fitness equipment will be set up.

Upgrade highlight 4: a good place to view

Haichuan health Road Pavilion is located at the east end of the ridge road. It has a wide view and is a good place to overlook. The renovation will focus on the sea pavilion with rest seats and wooden railings overlooking the sea to improve the landscape and functionality.

Upgrade highlight 5: more complete facilities

In the upgrading of Fuguo Park, 5 new roads are planned, with a total length of more than 1100 meters. Six leisure and fitness squares with a total area of nearly 3000 square meters were newly built and rebuilt, 370 meters of wooden railings were added, 19 solar lamps were installed, basketball, badminton and table tennis courts were built, outdoor furniture, finished tables and chairs, fitness equipment and garbage cans were added.
