Dachangshan island is located in the southeast of Liaodong Peninsula and the north of Changshan Islands. It is the seat of Changhai County Government of Liaoning Province, with a land area of 31.79 square kilometers, a coastline of 94.4 kilometers and a sea area of 651.5 square kilometers. Dachangshan Island gets its name because it is long and mountainous.

Pikou port: take a Ro / Ro liner for 50 minutes and a speedboat for 25 minutes to reach Yuanyang port on dachangshan island.

The legend of the goddess of the sea is like a huge halo over the islands. Before liberation, when the fishermen's fate was often manipulated by nature, they hoped to use God to protect themselves and their relatives. On the 13th day of the first month, the custom of putting sea lanterns on the birthday of the goddess of the sea has continued. On this day, local families are as busy as new year's day. People use colorful paper to tie up various boat shaped lanterns, which are lit with candles or light bulbs. On the lampshade, it is written "fish and shrimp full cabin" and "bumper harvest of five grains". It is painted with auspicious calligraphy and paintings, such as carp jumping over the dragon's gate, mountains and rivers, birds and animals. Fishermen concentrate their pious heart and love into small boat lamps. When night falls, the fishermen gather on the beach and put the fishing lamp into the waves of the sea to present to the goddess of the sea, who is as famous as Bodhisattva. The scene of firecrackers, fireworks and sea lanterns was grand and spectacular. On the sea, little lights, like the reflection of stars, flutter away along the wind, and gradually disappear between the sea and the sky. It is firmly believed that the goddess's divine power can radiate vast waters and space, and the ships of relatives are just within the reach of the goddess's divine power.

Sanyuan Palace

Sanyuan palace was built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, located in Sanguanmiao village of Dachangshan Island, which was later destroyed. Now Sanyuan palace is invested and built by Hualong enterprise, which is the largest Taoist temple in Dalian. Taoism was formally formed in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of nearly 2000 years. It is a native religion in China. The founder of Taoism is Lao Tzu, who wrote Tao Te Ching.

Sanyuan palace is an antique building, which is divided into three parts: front, middle and back.
