Xi'an Cui Zhenkuan art museum is a large-scale private art museum, which is funded by Mr. Cui Zhenkuan, an important representative of contemporary Chinese painting and a leader of contemporary Chang'an painting school, and invested by Shaanxi ink painting Chang'an culture and Art Co., Ltd., integrating exhibition, collection and protection, academic research, art exchange, public education, and cultural leisure.

Located in Xi'an Baqiao Ecological Wetland Park, the Art Museum covers an area of 38 mu with a construction area of 19000 square meters. It has exhibition and application spaces such as Cui Zhenkuan's works exhibition hall, comprehensive exhibition hall, art collection library, multi-functional lecture hall, VIP reception hall, etc. There are art hotels, restaurants, art shops, cafes, parking lots and other facilities, which can hold different types of large and medium-sized art exhibitions and cultural activities.

The art museum is located in the ancient capital Xi'an, a famous cultural city famous for the glorious history of Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. It is also the starting point and center of the ancient Asia Europe land silk road. Cui Zhenkuan art museum will display, collect and study high-quality and representative historical relics, literati painting and calligraphy, folk crafts and other traditional Chinese art together with the water and ink Chang'an Art Museum.

With broad international vision, open cultural attitude, rigorous academic spirit and advanced service concept, Xi'an Cui Zhenkuan Art Museum strives to build an academic and knowledge-based art museum with first-class software and hardware facilities and equal emphasis on tradition and history.

The museum focuses on three academic tasks: first, to display, collect and study Mr. Cui Zhenkuan's works of art and literature; second, to display, collect and study the creative trend of contemporary Chinese ink and wash art and the works of outstanding artists; third, to display, collect and study the achievements and historical context of contemporary art in Western China.

Xi'an art museum will employ Liu Xiaochun, PI Daojian, Jia Fangzhou, Peng De, Wang Lin, Yin Shuangxi, Cheng Zheng, he Dan, Karen Smith and other famous scholars to form the first academic committee to promote the effective development of academic work and provide information platform and working conditions for relevant academic research. We will also employ senior critics and curators to form an exhibition team, from curating and arranging exhibitions to disseminating and receiving exhibitions, from cultivating art audiences, promoting original art to innovating exhibition modes, and pursuing high-quality and professional working methods.

The art museum will form an exhibition alliance with domestic academic art museums to share resources and bring more and better important art exhibitions at home and abroad to Xi'an citizens. At the same time, according to local conditions, we should carry out cultural industry projects such as public art education, contemporary art talents and knowledge training, and art derivatives development, so as to provide guarantee for the long-term and effective operation of the art museum.
