Small recreation garden is a kind of public green space in city, which is also called small green space, small square and small garden. The area of small parks ranges from tens of thousands of square meters to tens of thousands of square meters.

After the great Kanto earthquake in 1923, Japan began to build small parks when Tokyo was rebuilt. The Soviet Union included small parks in the urban green space system. China's small garden is green square or small public green space in residential area. Xiaoyouyuan has three-level quality maintenance standards.

Introduction to xiaoyouyuan

It is widely used in Chinese cities, and also plays a role in beautifying the urban environment. The area of small garden is generally about 10000 square meters, there are also hundreds of square meters, or even dozens of square meters, the greening rate needs to reach more than 80%. Small garden can be built by using small scattered open space which is not suitable for the layout of buildings in the city, which plays an important role in the reconstruction of the old city. In addition to planting flowers and trees, there are also garden roads, paving and architectural sketches.
