Douliu city is under the jurisdiction of Yunlin County, Taiwan Province, China. Yunlin county is located in the coastal area on the west side of Central Taiwan, while Douliu city is in the east corner of Yunlin County, which is the junction zone between the northern end of Jianan plain and the western foothills of the central mountains. It is adjacent to Zhushan Town of Nantou County in the East, Gukeng Township in the south, Huwei Town, Dounan Town, beijiepengtong Township and Linnei Township in the West. With a total area of 93.7151 square kilometers, the whole city is slightly in the shape of a horizontal chicken leg, 15 kilometers wide from east to west and 16 kilometers long from north to south.
