Wanghu building

Longhua mountain

Longhua Pavilion

A pavilion on Longhua mountain is called Longhua Pavilion. There is a yellow Jue tree in front of the pavilion, which has a history of more than 500 years. Walking into the gate of Longhua Pavilion, Li Banli's four big characters "Yun Yu Huai Zhu" reflect people's eyes. Jianshan Temple

After visiting Longhua Pavilion, you can come to Jianshan temple on another island in the center of Cuihu lake. Walking through a row of corridors is the "return" Pavilion written by Liu Kaiqu, a famous sculptor. Inside and outside, there are two couplets: "crossing the moon at the bottom of the wave, pressing the boat into the middle of the water", "having fun and going back, exploring the secluded and coming back", which are full of fun.

Walking dozens of steps, it is the "silver wind tower" written by chutunan. Standing here, you can see eight scenes of Cuihu Lake: Yudai dike, Fangyuan autumn moon, silver wind reflection, Longhua evening light, Pinghu Languang, overflow waterfall, Guishan Range Rover, Jincheng smoke and cloud. Guishan

Turtle hill lies on the north bank, just like a squatting turtle. It looks very interesting and makes you smile. Speaking of Guishan, it is said that there is another story. On this day, a turtle in yaochi wants to see the bustle of the world, so he turns into a hunchback old man and sneaks to Xiangshui beach in Yuechi. When a young woman saw that he was old and camel, she told him to eat at home. But he was too greedy to finish the meal prepared by the young woman for the family. He felt very thirsty, so he slipped quietly to the river and stretched his head to suck the water from the Shuitan river. This sucking forgot its identity and showed its original shape. A child saw it and exclaimed, "what a big tortoise!" When the turtle wakes up, it will never return to heaven, because it has been banished to the world by the queen mother. The tortoise was so angry that it became a mountain.

Pear garden

geographical environment

Cuihu reservoir, formerly known as Xiangshuitan reservoir, is located at the junction of Yuechi Huayuan Town, Beicheng Township and Shuangyan township. The dam body is located in Huayuan Town, and Cuihu Management Committee is set up, which is directly under the jurisdiction of the county government. Construction of Xiangshuitan reservoir began in 1959. In August 1960, the dam was built to store water, with a storage capacity of nearly 1.7 million cubic meters. Xiangshuitan reservoir covers an area of about 1.7 million square meters, and Cuihu lake has a catchment area of 48.70 square kilometers. The maximum dam height is 23 meters, the dam crest elevation is 398.30 meters, the weir crest elevation is 392 meters, the normal water level is 395.50 meters, the flood control limit water level is 394.50 meters in the main flood season, the flood control limit water level is 395.50 meters in the initial flood season, and the check flood water level is 396.67 meters. The normal storage capacity is 16.9 million cubic meters, and the maximum storage capacity is 20.48 million cubic meters. The word "Cuihu" was written by the famous calligrapher Li Banli. Cuihu lake is the second largest in area and the fourth largest in storage capacity in Yuechi County. Beautiful legend

There is a local legend about the origin of Xiangshuitan: Zhou Shijin, a stone craftsman with great skill, saw that the land was dry for a long time and decided to go to the Dragon Palace to ask for rain for the people. After looking for it for 7749 days, he was exhausted and fell into a cave. Finally, he crossed the 9981 barrier and came to the Dragon Palace. After his death, people put a stone box in front of his grave and put the golden bell in the stone box. Then a selfish man took the rain privately and angered the Dragon King. The Dragon King took back the golden bell again, but a stream gushed out just below the bell. When the water passed through the stone beach, it made a roaring sound. People named this beach Xiangshui beach.
