Lanjiang

Lanjiang River is located in Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province, also known as Jiashui and Lanxi. It joins Qushui and Wushui at the foot of Lanyin mountain, then flows through Lanxi City from south to north to Meicheng, Jiande City, with a total length of 46 km and a length of 22.5 km. Lanjiang River is the largest tributary of Qiantang River (Qujiang River and Lanjiang River are the main stream of Qiantang River), and it is also one of the main sources of Qiantang River water

Lanjiang

The ancient name of Lanjiang River is Lanxi and Jiashui. The tributary of Qiantang River (also known as Nanyuan and Beiyuan Xinanjiang) is the name of Qiantang River main stream from Lanxi City to Jiande City. The upstream two rivers converge at the foot of Lanyin mountain in the southwest of Lanxi City. Because of the abundant orchid, it is named Lanxi. Generally speaking, the upstream of the river is from majinxi, changshangang, Qujiang and Lanjiang. The upstream Majin river originates from the north slope of qingzhidaijian in the south of Xiuning County, Anhui Province, and reaches shuanggangkou, Quzhou City. Najiangshan port is called Changshan port. Qujiang (or qugang, Xin'anjiang) is called from Quzhou City to Lanxi. Along the way, it receives streams such as Wuxi River, Zhixi River, Lingshan port, etc. when Lanxi meets Jinhua River, it is called Lanjiang River. From south to north, it flows to sanhebu, enters Jiande City, and flows northward through Sanhe, mache, dache Yang, Yangwei, Sandu and other towns, out of the Jinqu basin, in Meicheng Dongguan and Xinanjiang convergence. From the source to Meicheng, the length of the river is 300 kilometers (303 kilometers), the area of Lanjiang River Basin is 19350 square kilometers, the width of the river is 250-350 meters, and the water depth is slow.

Lanjiang River is one of the main sources of water in Qiantang River. After the completion of Fuchunjiang Hydropower Station, Lanjiang River has become a river reservoir area, with 100 ton ships from Meicheng to Lanxi.

General situation of main stream

Majinxi in the upper reaches of Lanjiang River originates from the north slope of qingzhidaijian in the south of Xiuning County, Anhui Province. It is called Changshan port between najiangshan port and shuanggangkou port in Quzhou City. Changshan port mostly flows through mountainous areas and is a mountain stream river. From Quzhou City to Lanxi, it is called Qujiang River (or qugang River and Xin'an River). Along the way, it receives streams such as Wuxi River, Zhixi River and lingshangang river. After the confluence of Lanxi River and Jinhua River at magongtan, it is called Lanjiang River. From south to north, it flows to Meicheng in Jiande, where it confluences with Xin'an River. Qujiang Lanjiang River flows through Jinqu basin, with wide channel, slow flow and deep river bed. The area of Lanjiang River Basin is 19350 square kilometers, and the main stream is 300 kilometers long.

Majinxi section

In Xiuning County, Anhui Province, the main rivers of Qujiang River System in the upper reaches of Lanjiang River are the Longtian River, which flows into Majin River in Kaihua City, Zhejiang Province, and the Longtian river flows into Majin River in Taolin. Longtian River, originated from the north slope of qingzhidaijian in the south of Xiuning County, Anhui Province, has a length of 22.3 km, a drainage area of 80.6 km and three tributaries.

In Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province, the main stream is majinxi. Ma Jinxi, also known as Jinxi. Originated in Qixi Town, Kaihua County, at the junction of Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangxi provinces, lianhuajian is 1144 meters above sea level. It flows to xikengkou and converges with the water of Longxi and jinzhuling flowing into the territory of Longtian Township, tining County, Anhui Province. From north to south, it meanders down through Xiashan to Xinan village, Majin Town, nahetian River and Jieshou river. It flows southward to diben and receives Tangwu stream and cuntou stream. Then it flows to Yinkeng and into Zhongcun stream. Further south to Chengguan, Jincun stream and Taokeng stream flow in, and the flow increases. Continue to flow southward to Wuli silt, right Na Fengyuan water. To Huabu town north Huichi Huaixi Changshan port. The total length is 104.17 km, the river gradient is 5.92 ‰, and the drainage area is 1067.46 square km.

There are many valleys, narrow valleys and rapid flow. From xikengkou to Xiashan Township, 25 km is Qixi gorge, with high mountains and steep slopes on both sides. To the Majin valley plain, the river is wide, the water flow is stable, and the irrigation channels are dense. From Dayu village to Shangyuan village in Majin Town, it is qililong gorge. Then it flows to the south, three kilometers from mishai to Longtan. The process is mishai gorge, with mountains on both sides and clear water in the middle. Below the county seat, to the Huabu valley plain, the river is about 25 kilometers long, wide and deep, suitable for navigation.

Changshan port section

In Changshan County, the main stream is called Changshan port, which is a section of Lanjiang River, the largest tributary of Qiantang River. "Shuijing Jianjiang Shuizhu" is called dingyangxi. The geographical records of Ming Dynasty is called Jinchuan. Volume 16 of outline of waterways is called Jinchuan stream. Geographical records of the Qing Dynasty is called xin'anxi. It originates from the north slope of qingzhidaijian (more than 1140 meters above sea level) near Bancang, Longtian Township, Xiuning County, Anhui Province. From the source to Huabu town of Kaihua County, it is called majinxi. Changshan port is connected with majinxi, which is the first port to enter from the lower boundary of Huabu town in Kaihua County. It passes through Hejia, Huibu, Tianma, Qingshi, Zhaoxian and other towns, and leaves the county at the junction of Guanzhuang village and quanmushan village in Zhaoxian town. The flow in Changshan County is 46.6 km. From the birthplace to the double ports in Kecheng District, the total length is 164 km. Changshan port flows from northwest to East. It flows southward from the first place in the lower boundary, and MA (you wang) stream flows into the Northeast bank. Water from shimenkeng flows through Wentu, Huanggang stream flows through Jinjia and Pushi, turns to the northeast, flows through Meishan and Yuankou, and then changes to the southeast, and Linghu stream flows into the North Bank of Huibu town. It passes through Dongxiang, Tuan Village and fanxi, turns south, passes through Xucun, Shangbu and Shangjiang, and on the West Bank, there is longraoxi river. It flows to the southeast. Under the Jiantou village, Jiantou water flows into the north bank. After houfang, Jinchuan bridge, in the rich mountain, the southwest Bank of Nanmen river water injection. It flows through chengcunkou and turns to the northeast. It flows along guabangshan to Gaopu village. There is a carriage stream on the South Bank of Xikou. Turning to the southeast, it flows to the southeast through Mojia and chengtankang. Near Tangbian village, Gedi Township, Hongqiao stream flows into the north bank and Lishan stream flows into the south bank. Through Jiulongshan, it flows to the northeast, through Yuxikou village, with Dakeng stream flowing into the south bank, and through wangjiayu village, with Fangcun stream flowing into the north bank. At this point, the water gradually calmed down, flowing eastward through Zhaoxian, with guantan stream flowing into the south bank and Bolong stream flowing into the north bank. Through daxiyan, Guanzhuang, quanmushan, at the junction of Guanzhuang and quanmushan into Kecheng district. The drainage area is 3167 square kilometers, of which majinxi drainage area is 2062.7 square kilometers.

Qujiang section

In Kecheng District of Quzhou City, Changshan port flows eastward through Gouxi and Hangbu, turns southward to Wanchuan, and then turns northward. It is called Qujiang after najiangshan port at shuanggangkou

The river is 59.2 km long with a slope of 3.1%, and the drainage area is 11477.2 km.

In Longyou County, the main stream is Qujiang River, which is located in the upper reaches of Qiantang River. From yingchuantan of Quzhou City, it flows through tuanshi, Hutoushan, Lantang, Shiyuan, maye, Zhanjia, Longyou, Qidu, Huzhen and other towns, and then to Shaojia of Huzhen. The river source elevation is 43M, the estuary elevation is 32m, the drop is 11m, and the average slope is 0.39 ‰. The main stream is 28 kilometers long, with a drainage area of 1053.84 square kilometers.

In Lanxi City, Qujiang is also known as qugang and Xin'an River. It flows into Lanxi 4 km below Huzhen Town, Longyou County. After passing through Qiujia and wujiawei to Lanyin mountain, there are many sandy beaches and the river is turbulent. Passing through Lanyin mountain, Huajiang River converges into Lanjiang River. Qujiang River flows 23.3 kilometers in Lanxi City, with a drainage area of 325 square kilometers. Rainstorm often occurs in the upper reaches, which is the main source of flood in Lanjiang River. Qujiang River entered the country from the outer mountain peak. Originally, it flowed through yumache in the east of Youbu Town, but now it passed through Qiujia in the southeast of Yanggang village. Now you can see the steep bank of nanhuitan and yumache in Yubu town. There are still relics of the old road. In the street of Youbu Town, the street along the river was not changed. The West Chai Quay is the quay for transporting firewood charcoal. Qiujia village is a sandbar on the south bank. It is also recorded in Tangxi county annals of the Republic of China that Qujiang River, now passing through Yanggang, was originally a small stream. The time of change was about Ming Dynasty.

Lanjiang section

In Lanxi City, Qujiang River flows from west to East, Jinhua River flows from east to west into Lanxi City, and Lanyin mountain converges to form Lanjiang River. The city is divided into three parts: Xidong (northeast), Xixi (northwest) and Jiangnan. Qujiang River is 23.3 km long, Jinhua River is 12.4 km long and Lanjiang River is 22.5 km long. The area of Lanjiang River Basin is 19467.5 square kilometers, including 18529 square kilometers above the "Sanjiangkou".

Lanjiang, also known as Lanxi and Daxi, is also known as Gushui because of its wave like Luo pattern. Qujiang River and Jinhua River meet in the southwest of Chengguan town. In the old days, there were many orchids on the cliff. Because of the name of Lanjiang River, there was Zhongzhou at the confluence, which has been turned into a park. There is waiweizhou in the north. Through the female port, there is a famous river beach back. Through Jiaoshi, there is jiaoshizhou. After crossing the island to jiangjunyan and entering Jiande County, Fuchun River is formed by Meicheng and Xin'an River. The drainage area (above Lanxi hydrological station) is 18233 square kilometers, with a total length of 45.8 kilometers. The city's internal flow is 22.5 kilometers long, with a drainage area of 851 square kilometers. Since the dam of Fuchunjiang Hydropower Station was built, the water depth is usually 2 meters. Lanjiang originally passed through the foot of Shigu mountain and moved to the west of Huangzhen village in the Qing Dynasty, so the folk saying goes: "shigu mountain 30 years ago, Huangzhen beach 30 years later."

In Jiande City, Lanjiang River enters Sanhe River, flows through Sanhe River, mache River, Dayang River and Yangwei River from south to north, and flows into Fuchunjiang River at the east gate of Meicheng town. The length of Lanjiang River is 23.5 km and the drainage area is 419.38 square km. Fuchun River flows from southwest to northeast, through wushitan and qililong, and flows into Tonglu County in cold water.
