Historical evolution
During the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, grandmaster Zhang Sanfeng, a descendant of Xujing Tianshi, came to Heming mountain and went to Tiangu cave to practice. During the Hongwu and Yongle periods of the early Ming Dynasty, the imperial court sent Huke, an imperial envoy, to find the ancestor of Sanfeng to the tomb of Hu, the Minister of rites of Shizhong, to Heming mountain, where the ancestor disappeared. Hu finally left the tombstone. After that, Cheng Zu sent Wu Boli, a Taoist of Longhu Mountain, and Zhu Xiang, an internal servant, to visit Sanfeng in Heming mountain with the seal, calligraphy and coins. He also built the Yingxian Pavilion, which was used to offer gifts and services. The founder of Sanfeng said, "since ancient times, if the son of heaven has not become an immortal, you still have to play. You only want to be diligent and love the people, and be the son of peace. Fortunately, the world has been blessed." respond.
Introduction to architecture
Yingxian Pavilion, also known as Yingxiang temple, is located behind Tianzhu peak at the foot of Heming mountain, where the statue of Zhang Sanfeng is worshipped. Zhang Sanfeng, named Yuanyuan, is a descendant of Zhangling in Han Dynasty. At first he lived in Baoji County, then he entered Wudang Mountain. In the 24th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1391), Xianwang summoned Sanfeng to meet him. Sanfeng didn't agree with his words, so he left and went to Heming mountain. He admired his ancestor Daoling for the place where he lived. He went back and forth three times in Heming mountain. In the early years of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, Chengzu sent Hu Ying to visit Sanfeng in Mingshan. Hu Zhihe sang the song of "interview with Zhang Sanfeng". In the 15th year of Yongle (1417), Emperor Chengzu sent Wu Boli, a Taoist of Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province, to meet him at Heming mountain. He arrived in April, but there was no Sanfeng. He built a new residence, waited for a long time, set up an altar to chant scriptures, and hoped to visit Sanfeng. In the 18th year of Yongle (1420), bolifu built a Pavilion behind Yingxiang temple to welcome Sanfeng. The plaque said "Yingxian", hence the name of Yingxian Pavilion. In the first year of Ming Zhengtong (1436), Sanfeng was granted the title of "Tongwei Xianhua Zhenren", in the 22nd year of Chenghua (1486), taoguang Shangzhi Zhenxian, and in the 42nd year of Jiajing (1563), Qingxu yuanmiao Zhenjun. Since the approval of Heming mountain as a cultural relic protection unit in Chengdu in 1985, Yingxian pavilion has been restored.
