According to the records of Quxian County, "in the 34th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the literati built many houses." During the investigation, it was found that the brick on the tower had the words "winter and moon in Kangxi Guiyou year".

Construction situation

The tower is a seven story hexagonal, pavilion style brick tower, 32.63 meters high, with xumizuo on it, about 64 cm high. The waist part is carved with a simple pattern. The leaning columns on each floor are vertical and not inclined to the center. Each corner column retreats about half the diameter of the column than the corner column on the lower floor, because the degree of inward convergence of each floor of the tower is not obvious, forming a sense of overall stability. The covering basin and phase wheel are still in good condition. There are grooves in the inner wall of the tower for the placement of wooden members, and wooden frames are reserved for more than four floors. In 1982, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level.
