Qingjiang Lake

Qingjiang lake is the reservoir area of Tuokou hydropower station in Hongjiang City. In mid June 2014, in order to improve the cultural taste of Tuokou reservoir area, expand the external publicity of the reservoir area, and improve its popularity, the CPC Hongjiang Municipal Committee and government decided to name a more memorable and unforgettable lake for Tuokou reservoir area after Qingshui River, the main stream of the reservoir. To this end, the city has carried out the name collection activities of Tuokou Hydropower Station Reservoir in the whole city. After the notice was issued, people and netizens in the city actively contributed. Recently, according to the selection work arrangement and criteria, through layer upon layer selection, the name of Tuokou hydropower station reservoir is finally determined as Qingjiang lake. There are four reasons for its name: first, from the perspective of geographical and historical origins, Tuokou is located at the intersection of Qingshui River and canal water. After the clear Qingshui River flows into the mainstream of Yuan River, it goes straight to Dongting. The main dam is located in Qingshui River Basin. Qingshui River has been an ancient road for wood merchants since ancient times. During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, during the heyday of wood trade in Yuanshui River Basin, 70% of Guizhou's wood was transported through Tuokou. Named after "Qingjiang Lake", it not only respects the geographical origin, but also remembers the history and culture of Qingshuijiang ancient road for hundreds and thousands of years. Second, from the literal meaning: "Qingjiang" literally means a clear river, "Lake" refers to a large area of water accumulated on land. At present, most of the reservoir areas are named after "Lake". The word "Qingjiang Lake" easily reminds people of the excellent water quality and rippling blue waves in Tuokou reservoir area. Moreover, it sounds fresh, eco-friendly and imaginative. Thirdly, in terms of pronunciation, "Qingjiang Lake" has three tones: Yinping, Yinping and shangsheng. The tones of Pingping and tinge fluctuate and change with each other. It has the melody beauty of Chinese characters and is catchy and easy to remember. Fourthly, from the strategic background of tourism development: in 2012, Hunan Province and Guizhou Province signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, and the two provinces will jointly tap the tourism resources of Qingshui River Basin. Named after "Qingjiang Lake", it is conducive to regional cooperation, project packaging and funding.

Introduction

Qingjiang lake, the reservoir area of Tuokou hydropower station in Hongjiang City, is named after Qingshui River, the main stream of the reservoir. The lake is clear and the river is rippling all the year round. It is located in Hongjiang City and Zhijiang County of Huaihua City, Hunan Province, and Southeast Guizhou Province. It is close to zhiliu railway, Baotou Maoming Expressway and national highway 209. It is more than 70 kilometers away from the center of Huaihua City, only 40 kilometers away from Zhijiang airport, and 33 kilometers away from Zhiqian city of Hongjiang City (Qianyang ancient city). The lake area controls a drainage area of 24500 square kilometers. The largest part of the water surface is 8.8 kilometers long from east to west and 5.6 kilometers wide from north to south. The average water depth is 50 meters. The total water area is 52 square kilometers. The lake surface in Hunan Province is second only to Dongting Lake, which can be called "West Dongting". The local people used to call it "West Sea". It has the reputation of Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang Province in the East and Qingjiang Lake in Hunan Province in the West.

Dam of Tuokou Hydropower Station

Tuokou hydropower station in Hongjiang City has an installed capacity of 810000kw, a normal water level of 250m and a dam crest height of 253m. It is a diversion power station with large storage capacity and annual regulation behind the dam. Tuokou hydropower station is arranged by water diversion, which is composed of dongyousi main dam, wangmaxi auxiliary dam and baituchong auxiliary dam. Among them, the main dam of Dongyou temple is very magnificent. Standing on the dam, you can see the rippling blue waves of the river and lake. You can see it thousands of miles at a glance, which is very spectacular. Outside the dam, the lake is flowing like a white dragon.

Dong Island

Dongren island is located in Yuancheng village, Yuanhe Town, Hongjiang City, Hunan Province, near qingjianghu dam. The total area is 4.9 square kilometers. The total population of the village is 1338, of which Dong people account for more than 80. The island is surrounded by water on three sides, with ten li natural beaches and many mysterious caves. The ecological environment is very beautiful. The folk culture of the ancient village is outstanding. It retains the folk customs of the northern Dong dialect area and Yuanshui paigonghaozi and other intangible cultural heritage. The ancient village, the ancient stage and the ancient plank road are all important memorial sites for the long march of the 2nd and 6th Red Army Corps. So far, it has retained the tombs of the Red Army martyrs and the Red Army slogan wall. Now it has successfully created a famous tourism village with provincial characteristics.

Biyong Dongzhai Grand Canyon

Biyong Dongsai Grand Canyon is located in the middle reaches of the Qingjiang River in Huaihua, Hunan Province, and in Biyong Town, Zhijiang county. It enters from luoyanjiang village or Biyong Town, Zhijiang river. It is one of the most important scenic spots in the Qingjiang River. The total length of the canyon is 18 km. After the reservoir area of Tuokou hydropower station is inundated, more than 20 beautiful lake Gorges and stream Gorges are formed here, such as Dachong gorge, duyanchong gorge, Bihe gorge, yantangwan gorge, zhoutang gorge, pipadong gorge, Yanzhai gorge, Jianlong gorge, Matang gorge, Zhuxi gorge, Tangyin gorge, Xiaoxi gorge, nitang Gorge, guojiangtan gorge, gaozhen gorge, mayingxi gorge, Aotian gorge, Zhushi gorge, Zhengwu gorge and longkong gorge Xixia, Huangsi cave and so on are very quiet and beautiful. The scenic spot can be boarded along Wanxia Lake by boat from Tuokou Town, Hongjiang City, or by boat from Biyong Town, Zhijiang County, for sightseeing on both sides of the canyon. Bihe ancient Dong Village

Bihe ancient Dong village is located at the end of Biyong Grand Canyon in the middle reaches of Qingjiang Lake scenic area, Southeast of Biyong Town, Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, 2km away from Zhijiang Biyong town. There are 7 villager groups in Bihe village, with a total of 858 people. It is a minority characteristic village in Hunan Province and a new socialist countryside pilot village at county level. When you enter Bihe ancient Dong village, tourists will be immediately infected by the ethnic flavor and atmosphere. Diaojiaolou, fengyuqiao, beidong folk custom exhibition hall and Dong folk songs and dances make tourists linger here. The village maintains the original style of the Dong nationality, surrounded by towering green mountains, dense ancient trees, and well preserved original vegetation. Development history

Qingjiang lake is the reservoir of Tuokou hydropower station. Tuokou hydropower station is a key project in the third stage of cascade development of Yuanshui River Basin, and is the largest hydropower station in Hunan Province. On October 15, 2003, Hongjiang municipal Party committee and government signed the investment invitation agreement for Tuokou hydropower station with Hunan Wuling Hydropower Development Co., Ltd.
