Yangshan ancient village in Guiyang County is named after Qitianling (Qitianling is one of the five mountains in Nanling, which was called Yangshan in Qin Dynasty). Near maoshantang, shangyangshan and xiayangshan villages, where the terrain is relatively gentle, there is a masonry bridge on the river with stone columns and tile roofs. Local people call this bridge and the high wooden bridge "flower bridge". On the mountain beside the bridge, there is a water cave called "maodiyan", which is the outlet of the underground Yinhe river with a large amount of water. In the people's commune, people built dams at high places to store water and generate electricity, and there was Yangshan version of "high gorge out of Pinghu".

Such scenery may not be uncommon in the mountainous areas of southern Hunan. Yangshan is a picturesque ancient residential community -- liaocai village. Liaocai village is located in the north end of the open and gentle Valley, at the mouth of Yangshanchong, facing the valley to the south. In the distance is the majestic continuous Qitianling, in the near is the open Tiandong. The small river rushes from the village and turns to the northwest to join the downstream. The name of the village is also very particular. It turns out that this is the village where the Liao family lives. He, who was born in Lujiang County 500 years ago, did not return to his hometown after resigning from office. However, he took a fancy to this place and brought his family here to work and study. Later, he's family multiplied and cultivated many talents from generation to generation, either as civil servants or military generals, and built this village which is still praised by people today. I don't know when the surname Liao disappeared from here. There is only the Hakka he family in the village. It is said that the sage of the elder surname he changed the name of this village to "Liao Cai". In addition to the hope that the number of people will be prosperous and talents will come forth in large numbers, he also took the homonym of "Liao" and "Liao" to show his respect for the surname Liao. But it used to be Liao's village, so local people also called it "Liao's home".
