Name source
According to Wang Baoxin, a modern local chronicler, during the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, this was the jiuchan state in the east of Chu. In Zuo Zhuan, there is a record that "Chu Zi attacked Wu heavily and conquered jiuchan", that is, the two countries of Chu and Wu fought here in that year. After winning the battle against Wu, Chu Zi took this place to Chu. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, Cheng Lun, Wu Jiyi and Fu Gaogao took Tiantang village as their base, contacted the villages in Jianghuai, and fought against the Yuan Dynasty. Xu Shouhui, the leader of the peasant uprising at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, raised his troops against the Yuan Dynasty and often went to and from here. Wang Ding, the Minister of the Ministry of war in the late Ming Dynasty, was against the Qing Dynasty, and Ma Chaozhu, the leader of the peasants in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, often came here. Because of this, the Ming and Qing dynasties had set up camp here for flood control and garrisoned troops for defense. There are liziguan, qingtaiguan, wengmen, tudilingka in the north of the border, huanglongshanka in the East, Tiantang, Hegao, Yueyue, Yangjiao, Heigou, artillery and other shanzhais around the border. Xiang is a military important place in Hubei, Henan and Anhui. The Red Army and Liu Deng army once took this as a base to command thousands of troops and horses to fight against the enemy.
Today's "Jiuzi" is actually the change and abbreviation of "Jiuqi" in ancient China
. In the past, because there were many pagoda temples and many monks, it was also called "sengta Temple".
Scenery of scenic spot
Legacy of ancient country
Jiuzihe is one of the five scenic spots in Luotian Dabie Mountain National Forest Park. Jiuzihe Town, where the scenery is located, was the state of jiucong in the spring and Autumn period and the old Warring States period. Today, Jiuzihe river is a mountain basin surrounded by mountains. The small river flows through the town in a zigzag way. The town houses form a pocket Village, just like the stars in the sky falling on the countryside surrounded by mountains. They grow grain and raise silkworms, make cloth with gauze, pick tea and fruit, brew rice wine by themselves, eat farm hanging pot vegetables, wear embroidered coarse cloth clothes, respect each other, be honest and hospitable, and live an ordinary life. When they are happy, they hum a few folk songs, play a few rural games, or around douzihuo, hanging pot vegetables, drink homemade rice wine, talk about the world and enjoy themselves, showing the unique ancient customs everywhere.
The scenic spot has a long history and strong cultural flavor. During the spring and Autumn period, the place was called jiuzang state. The general Lu Xun, Fu Gao, Wang Ding and other rebel troops stationed here. When the Red Army and Liu Deng army moved to Dabie Mountains, they took this town as the center to preside over meetings, study strategies and tactics, and set up an array. Therefore, there are many ancient buildings around the area, following the old system of village girls, there are still some customs such as sand weaving nets, hunting and hunting.
Jiuzihe rural scenery
Jiuzi River, the Pearl of market town in Eastern Hubei, is inlaid in the southwest of the main peak of Dabie Mountain. Thanks to the gift of God and the mind and skillful hand of Luotian people, it has painted a picturesque beauty.
But the most beautiful season here is autumn, when the harvest is good. Every late autumn, you see the Sapium sebiferum leaves all over the mountains, under the moistening of rain and dew, under the sunshine, under the touch of white clouds, more and more gorgeous, more and more delicate, so gorgeous that the color seems to drip down. Moreover, the Sapium sebiferum trees here are not in twos and threes, but in groups standing on the ridge. These are the two characteristics of Sapium sebiferum leaves in Jiuzihe.
Especially in Dafan, such as Qilin fan, Shengsheng hall and Xu fengchong, the scenery of red leaves in the mountains is very relaxing. The rice waves in the terraced fields are rolling, and the green leaves of the Sapium sebiferum trees on the ridges are also red. They are like torches burning to the sky, and the blue distant mountains and white clouds in the mountains make up a wonderful autumn field Garden scenery.
Sanshennao scenic spot
(1) Sanshengnao
Sanshengnao is located in the northeast border of Jiuzihe town. It used to be the boundary mountain of the three provinces (Luotian County, Hubei Province in the south, Shangcheng County, Henan Province in the northwest, Huoshan County, Anhui Province in the northeast), so it is named sanshengnao. Its main peak is 1540 meters. It is said that there was a circling ancient pine on the top of the mountain in the past, which is known as "rooted in the three provinces, leaf crown Jiuzhou". NAO is famous for its beautiful scenery and cool climate.

(2) Eighteen pools
Eighteen pools originated from sanshennao, the main peak of eighteen pans at an altitude of 1 540 meters. Eighteen waterfalls in the valley are in various shapes, forming eighteen big and small pools naturally, hence the name. In addition to many unique scenic spots created by nature, such as jade and pure heart pool, the valley also has a well preserved forest ecosystem, such as a labyrinth, which fully shows its attractive magic charm. The valley is vertically distributed with nanmu, beech, Dalbergia, Kudingcha, wild walnut and other national and provincial key protected precious plants, as well as national key protected wild animals such as giant salamander and pangolin. These rare plants together with the Qishan Qishi Qitan waterfall group constitute a unique landscape here.
(3) New house embankment
Xinwuyuan is located at the foot of naoshan mountain in three provinces, with an area of 0.5 square kilometers, 30 families and 120 people. The history of this embankment can be traced back to the late Ming Dynasty in the early Qing Dynasty, and it has a history of nearly 200 years. Its ancient buildings, carved beams and painted buildings, are still elegant and dignified. From afar, you can see green bricks and plain tiles, cornices and corners; from inside, the courtyard is deep, the corridor is curved, and the wooden dragon and Phoenix carved on the beams of the ancient theater tower are vivid. There are 32 patios in the whole courtyard, but there is no open ditch for drainage, and there is no waterlogging in spring and summer, so far the mystery has not been solved.
(4) Jiuzihe town
Jiuzihe town is located in Tiantangzhai, the main peak of Dabie Mountain, and at the foot of Bijia mountain, sanshenao and other high mountains. The terrain is basin-shaped, surrounded by mountains and ridges; the town is suddenly open, with streams winding around and highways extending in all directions; the city is full of pavilions and flowers; the terraces beside the stream are stacked, with chestnut and persimmon trees hanging, and the scenery is pleasant.
According to the research of Wang Baoxin, a modern local chronicler, this is the former site of jiuchanyi of Chu, which has been administrated by officials for more than 2400 years. Today's "Jiuzi" is a different word, which should be written as "jiuchan", but it is the result of gradual simplification and evolution for the convenience of writing.
Jiuzihe is located in the border area of Wu and Chu. It was a market town for soldiers and merchants in ancient times. According to reports, the ancient "pavilions thousand, building Pavilion ten thousand, traffic flow such as water, beauty such as cloud" reputation. Although the modern mountain city has been built, many historic buildings and ancient country customs are still preserved. There are indeed "mountains lingering around the ancient town, terraced fields with the fragrance of flowers and fruits". From the love songs of the women in Huanyi, the shepherds were praised for many moving scenes.
Bijia mountain scenery
(1) Longpan Villa
More than 1000 meters to the east of Qiling pass, it has a small area and beautiful scenery. It is known as "the mountain is like Qingluo belt, the water is like Yuyao pool, the ancient forest is quiet and deep, and there are wonders everywhere". Around the villa, there are thousands of ancient pines and ten thousand bamboo poles, covering an area of more than 150 mu. It is famous for its dense forest, thick trees and high mountains. Experts from Beijing and Nanjing Forestry Colleges have personally inspected and identified that daquanji here has a history of more than 300 years and is the most complete preserved natural ancient pine forest in Eastern Hubei. Longpan mountain villa was originally a high mountain basin, and in the center of the basin there is a pond with a water surface of about 4 mu, just like "basin in basin". This basin is a natural landscape composed of green trees, clear water and blue sky. When the sun rises in the east or the sunset sets, the light clouds and mists float around it. It is intoxicating to be in a fairyland.
