Jianshi Chaoyang view is located in Yezhou Town, the people's Government of Jianshi County, Enshi City, Hubei Province in the west, on Fengguan mountain in the southwest of Yezhou town and Xiaoxikou reservoir area in the East. Relying on the county seat, Chaoyang view has a total area of 50 square kilometers and convenient transportation. National highway 209 passes through the scenic area.

Scenic resources

Chaoyang view

Located on Fengguan mountain in the southwest of Yezhou Town, it was famous for its Chaoyang temple. The whole building complex is composed of Buddha Hall, grandmaster hall and Guanyin hall. There are ten Chaoyang sceneries: Tianchi Mingjing, Shijian Feiquan, Hutou angcui, Fengwei tuoqing, Yaxuan Baiyin, shishunwusha, Shitan yehou, hubangtiankai, Penglai fairyland and Shijian overpass. The surrounding scenic spots include chuandongzi forest farm, Mishui River, Tianshengqiao, Zhamushui, shigumen, Baotashan, nuerzizhai, gongjianyan, etc.

Daughter village

Daughter village is an important scenic spot in Chaoyang Temple scenic area. It is located in the valley beside malanxi river at the south foot of Chaoyang temple, only 3 kilometers away from the county seat. The scenery of streams, waterfalls, forests, caves, cliffs and so on in the valley is changeable and colorful, among which Danxia rock peak, pictographic stones are unique, and green shrubs are everywhere. Dashahe scenic spot

Dasha River scenic spot is located in the downstream of Guangrun river at the foot of Chaoyang Guanshan. It extends about 20 km along the river through Wangjiazhai bridge under Xiaoxikou dam and in the south. At present, the county tourism company is developing a 5 km drifting section of Dasha River. Chaoyang temple, located at the top of Fengguan mountain, is about 1 km southwest of Yezhou Town, covering an area of about 500 square meters. Fengguan mountain is named "Chaoyang Temple" because it looks like a colorful phoenix flying towards the sun, implying the meaning of Danfeng and Chaoyang. Because the natural pool outside the temple is called "Tianchi", Chaoyang temple is also called "Tianchi Temple". The temple was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty and maintained during the reign of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty.

The whole Guanyu, originally composed of the Buddha Hall, Guanyin hall, eighteen Arhats hall, Yuhuang tower, luzu Pavilion, Lingguan hall and other buildings, sits east facing west and is of brick and wood structure. Above the gate, there are three characters of "Tianchi Temple" in regular script; on the blue and white stone gate frame, there is a couplet: "the depth of the pool depends on the fish, the sky allows the birds to fly", and the banner is "the temple is empty". The clay statues in the temple are lifelike, well displayed, and the atmosphere is solemn. They were once presided over by elders, and the incense is prosperous. There are often good men and women praying for divinity. On the south side of the temple, there is a natural pool, which is as clear as a mirror. It is known as the "mirror of Tianchi", and a single span arch bridge is built on it, commonly known as the "moon arch bridge".

Around Chaoyang temple, there used to be towering ancient cypresses, fragrant Guihe and several rice fields, dotted with fragrance. After rain, the mountains are covered with mist, and the trees are green. It's elegant and quiet, just like a blessed place in the cave. In addition to the sound of bells and drums and continuous cigarette smoke, the ancients called it "Penglai fairyland". In the northeast of Fengguan mountain, there is "Xingshi cave" written by Mr. Shi Ying, one of the "three heroes" in Hubei Province. There are also "stone cave spring" and "stone cave Overpass" and other three scenes. Tourists once wrote the couplet of "clear water flowing to natural caves, green mountains and gloomy, reflecting the human Overpass". At the foot of the mountain, there are swirling water ripples in Guangrun River, sparkling "lion Beach" (night roar of lion Beach) and vivid "boat island"; at the upstream of lion beach, there is a single span "Tiesuo bridge". In the southeast of Fengguan mountain, there are forty-eight Taiji figures, and malanxi river is winding with green water. "Hutou angcui" is located in the Northwest Mountain of malanxi. To the north of Fengguan mountain, there are important historical sites and quiet "Sanqing cave" and "hubangtiankai", "white seal hanging on cliff", "stone towering Wusha" and "black rock cave". To the west of Fengguan mountain, there are Zhaizi (pangwa) cave on the cliff of Dazhai mountain, Fengwei tuoqing cave stretching for several miles, and chuandongzi cave which can accommodate ten thousand people. At the foot of the stone slope in the northwest, there are "fish Fairy Cave" of "charity", the "rice river" of "rice washing water" and the "Yinhe mountain" of natural stone. The scenery here is unique. It is the best resort at the end of Chaoyang view scenic spot. It is said that during the Anti Japanese War, as the first prison of the Kuomintang in Hubei Province, general Ye Ting was imprisoned here.

At present, in addition to the renovation of Chaoyang temple, Tianchi Temple Buddha Hall, Guanyin hall, zushi hall and other landmark buildings built in the middle of Ming Dynasty, Chaoyang Temple scenic area has restored the ancient scenic spot "Tianchi mirror" Besides, it has also built the Jiuji double eaves view building, tea house, twenty four filial piety hall, general Ye Ting memorial hall, Tujia hand waving hall, bark hall, turn attic and Mimi zoo with a construction area of 1800 square meters. Chaoyang view has passed the acceptance of AA scenic spot.
