Helu

Helu is located in the north of Tijin Hall of Xiling Seal printing society in Hangzhou. It was built in 1923 with the donation of Ding Ren and connected with Tijin hall.

Helu: there is a small round door on the right side of the north wall of the Tijin Hall of Xiling Seal Engravers Association in Hangzhou. From here, you can enter the corridor to another building, Helu. In 1923, Helu was donated by Ding Ren to build behind Tijin hall, which is connected with Tijin hall and named after it. The inscription on the lintel is "Helu", which is written by Wu rang. There are couplets on both sides of the gate, which are written by guanjin old people and written by Qingdao people. The first couplet is "plum crane sitting in the neighborhood is still a picture", the second couplet is "there is no such lake and mountain in the hometown where water shield perch drinks", and the second word of the couplet contains "crane house (perch)". Helu is mainly used as a gathering place for the reception of members and important guests. The lower part of Helu is the north gate of yinshe grotto gate, which is made of stone. There are stone beams on the top and stone gates on the bottom. Along the steps, it leads to Lixi lake. The lintel of the grotto door is about one meter long and engraved with the running script "Hushan is the most beautiful" written by Kang Youwei in 1919. The couplet on both sides of the stone gate: "the high wind blows through the ages, and the seal learns to talk about Xiling." The sign of "national key cultural relics protection unit" stands beside the external wall of the stone gate.
