Xiaotiantai Temple
Xiaotai temple is located on shenguangling, Jiuhua Mountain, Qingyang County, Anhui Province, not far from the southwest of the body hall. Originally known as "Mingxin Temple", it was built in the Qing Dynasty. In 1919, master Miao liang of bhiksuni raised money to rebuild the temple, which was later abboted by monk Xing Hai. In 1934, the abbot monk Mingding. In 1946, Xinghai returned to xiaotiantai temple and became Abbot again. At that time, it was already ten square jungle scale. In front of the temple, there are jade Buddha Hall, Qi hall and squatter house, all of which are integrated; from the front, there are Daxiong hall, Weituo hall and Guanyin hall, and a squatter house is built. The layout of xiaotiantai temple is neat, and the building is magnificent, showing the style of a famous temple.
All the monks in xiaotiantai temple are dedicated to Buddhism, promoting Dharma and benefiting life. Under the leadership of the current abbot, master Yiche, we have made concerted efforts to continuously review the past and develop the new, and prosper the holy religion. In order to enhance the monks' ideological awareness of patriotism and love of religion, nearly ten disciples have been recommended to study in major Buddhist colleges or abroad in recent years, which has brought vitality to the Buddhist community. Master Yiche, the abbot of xiaotiantai temple, is a 34 year old man from Anhui Province. He became a monk in 1984 and graduated from louxiashan Buddhist College in Nanjing.
