Beijing taxation Museum
Located in the south of Taiyanggong sports and leisure park, Chaoyang District, Beijing taxation Museum has a construction area of 2700 square meters and an exhibition area of 1400 square meters. It has 2941 cultural relics and historical materials on display. These cultural relics and historical materials come from many provinces in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. They not only show the long-standing tax culture of our country, but also have very important teaching and research value.
Founded in 2005, Beijing tax museum is the first professional museum to be built by provincial tax authorities in China. In 2009, the exhibition was suspended due to the need to protect the cultural relics of the original Pudu temple. In 2013, with the proposal of the Municipal Local Taxation Bureau, the response of the Municipal State Taxation Bureau, Chaoyang District government and the Central University of Finance and economics, the four units completed the reconstruction in two years.
The newly built exhibition hall of Beijing tax Museum covers an area of about 1400 square meters. 2941 pieces of cultural relics and historical materials, such as bronzes, pottery, ironware, currency, bills, contracts, etc., are arranged randomly in the display cabinet, showing a long history of tax culture. The "treasure of the town hall" of the Beijing tax museum is a contract that the bannermen sold the houses in the blacksmith Hutong of Beijing during the Qianlong period. The contract systematically presents the process of several houses in zhongblacksmith Hutong of Beijing, which were sold and verified from Qianlong of Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. It lasted 187 years, and was well preserved. It can be clearly seen from the contract that the house price was relatively high in the 36th year of Qianlong period, then it fell down in Daoguang and Tongzhi period, and then it rose to a new high in Guangxu period, while the deed tax rate remained basically unchanged, which gave visitors a real understanding of the house price, tax and social culture of Qing Dynasty.
According to curator Rao Mengyang, the exhibits of the Beijing tax museum not only cover the whole country, but also have Beijing characteristics. Time honored brand is an important part of Beijing culture. The tax relics of time honored brand have witnessed the economic and cultural development of Beijing for hundreds of years. Beijing tax museum opens a corner for the tax relics of Beijing's well-known time-honored brands, displaying the books and tax receipts of Tongrentang, rongbaozhai, ruixiangxiang, Liubiju and other time-honored brands. On display is a ruler used by Rui in the period of the Republic of China, on which the words "expel the Tartars, restore China, establish civil rights and support the Republic" are written, with distinctive characteristics of the times.
In addition, the museum also creatively produced a park ticket wall. Park tickets are not only the voucher for entering the park, but also the title invoice. There are 391 samples of Beijing park tickets on the ticket wall, some of which are now free of charge. The tickets that are no longer used remind many people of the past.
