Bailixia is a national 5A scenic spot and a national geopark. Located in gougezhuang village, Yesanpo Town, Laishui County, Hebei Province, Bailixia, with a total area of 110 square kilometers, borders Fangshan District of Beijing and is 115 kilometers away from the center of Beijing, is one of the most dazzling scenic spots in West Beijing.

Baili gorge, known as "the first gorge in the world", is one of the unique scenic spots in Yesanpo. It is the largest and most peculiar scenic spot in China. Baili gorge is composed of three circuitous peaks and valleys with a total length of 105 Li, hence the name Baili gorge. It's a must to visit Yesanpo.

Bailixia has also been used as the location of CCTV version of the romance of the Three Kingdoms, Chibi, Qin Xun Ji, Xiao Shilang and many other films and TV dramas.

In the gorge, there are many peaks, steep mountains, deep valleys, small streams, wild animals and plants all over the ravines, and the ecological environment is primitive and natural. It is an ideal place for leisure and summer vacation because of its unique structure erosion landform, which makes the temperature warm in winter and cool in summer, and the highest temperature in midsummer is no more than 22 ℃. In the canyon, the air is fresh, the wind is gentle, rich in negative oxygen ions, deep breathing, refreshing and refreshing, people call it "natural oxygen bar".

When visitors enter the gorge, the characters "the best gorge in the world" are particularly striking. This inscription was written by Hu Sheng, former vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, after visiting Baili gorge in May 1994. Over the years, Baili gorge has shown the vast number of tourists the complex landform, steep rocks and original pure natural landscape, which really live up to the reputation of "the first gorge in the world".

Scenic environment

brief introduction

The scenic spot is 105 Li Long and consists of three canyons. The outermost one is called "scorpion ditch": the total length is 25 Li. At the entrance of the scenic spot, there is a "xianguan guide" scenic spot, which leads visitors to scorpion ditch. It is named after the scorpion grass growing in the ditch. The shape of the grass is like young mulberry. If the skin touches its leaves, it will feel painful, but it will heal after a few days. There are many magnificent sceneries in xiezigou, such as Longtan yingyue, moer cliff and Tiesuo cliff.

A canyon in the middle is called "Haitang Valley": it is famous for its wide spread of Haitang flowers. Its total length is 35 Li. Here, the green walls stand upright, and the mountains are towering. It is daunting to see. Along the ditch, tourists are dazzled by the dangerous "tiger mouth", narrow "a line of sky", lifelike "looking back at Guanyin", large-scale "lower Overpass" and "upper Overpass". Every midsummer, wild crabapple flowers bloom all over the valley, fragrance overflowing, step by step is the scenery.

The third gorge is called "Shixuan gorge", which is named after the distribution of dozens of arc-shaped cliffs, with a total length of 45 Li. Entering the gorge, the scenic spots such as the "channiu Lake" waterfall, the "water curtain cave" of Lingzhi mountain, the "invisible sky" formed by the arc-shaped cliff, the puzzling "strange peak", and the "lion born" on the steep cliff come into view. It can be said that there are scenes step by step, like entering a fairy tale world. The total length of the Three Gorges is 105 Li, hence the name "Baili gorge". In the gorge, the grotesque rocks stand up, the cliffs are towering, the vegetation is growing everywhere, and the grotesque karst scenery is a combination of magnificence, danger, strangeness and seclusion, forming a "hundred Li Gallery" of nature.

Due to the deep canyon and short sunshine time, Bailixia still maintains a temperature of about 20 ℃ when the temperature is as high as 40 ℃ outside. It is a typical "natural air conditioner" and a good place for summer. In addition, in the canyon, there is also a kind of plant called earfeather rock fern, which belongs to fern. Local people call it "centipede grass" or "sheep tooth orchid". It can not only disinfect, but also release a large number of negative oxygen ions, promoting blood circulation and metabolism. Entering Baili gorge once is equivalent to washing your lungs once. The entrance of Bailixia is the Han castle, which is an imitation of the Han Dynasty. It adopts the architectural style of lifting beam and wearing bucket. It is built for the location of the play "empty city plan" in the TV drama romance of the Three Kingdoms. Now it has become a significant sign of our access to the scenic spot.

Bailixia TIANTI has 2800 steps, with a total length of 1200 meters and a relative height of 270 meters. TIANTI is a section connecting haitangyu gorge and shicliff gorge. The steps record the important historical events around the B.C. and the records of the first year that literature had an impact on China. Climbing the ladder to challenge one's own physical fitness, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and feeling the long history of Chinese civilization. On both sides of the ladder is the primary secondary forest, which is full of Dalbergia and shrubs. Although some plants are thick, they are hundreds of years old. Natural climate

It's a natural oxygen bar with luxuriant plants; it's a natural air conditioner with warm winter and cool summer. The highest temperature in summer is only 23 ℃. The air here is humid and the negative oxygen ion is extremely rich. It is a paradise you dream of. Hu Sheng, the late vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, paid a visit to Baili gorge. He improvised and donated the ink treasure of "the best gorge in the world" to Baili gorge.

Bailixia is also a huge natural botanical garden, with more than 3000 kinds of higher plants, including 1348 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines and more than 30 kinds of rare plants. They not only add luster to the vast mountains, but also provide people with all kinds of natural fruits and vegetables, with more than 300 kinds of edible plants.

Warm tips: the admission fee of Baili gorge is 115 yuan per person (from the entrance of the scenic spot to the main scenic area, there is a battery car to choose from, 10 yuan per person for one way, 18 yuan per person for round trip); the package ticket of Baili Gorge (Baili gorge + impression Yesanpo theater) is 180 yuan per person; holding senior citizen's card and student's card, 60 yuan per person; serving soldiers, children under 1.2 meters and the elderly over 70 years old are free of charge.

Self driving

Go from Beijing to G4 (Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao) to S24 (Langzhuo), then go to Zhangjiakou to g95 (zhangzhuo), and go directly to yesanpokou! It's about 150 kilometers.

Xialiutao road / Liulihe / Hancun take bus 917 from Beijing overpass to Shidu, and then change buses. It's convenient to take a bus from Shidu to Yesanpo for half an hour in some toll sections of 350 meters.
