Dengzhou people's Park is located at the intersection of Leifeng road and Chencheng road in Dengzhou city. It is adjacent to Chencheng road in the East, Beihuan road in the north, Wenhua Road in the west, Waicheng River in the south. Introduction

Dengzhou people's Park is adjacent to Dengzhou No.1 Middle School in the south, Dengzhou health school in the north, Wenhua Road in the west, Liaocheng road in the East, Dengzhou No.5 Middle School in the city and Dengzhou No.6 high school (Dengzhou Vocational Education Center). It is the largest public place for mass entertainment and leisure in Dengzhou. According to the overall planning and design, it is divided into five functional areas: elderly activity area, children's recreation area, fountain square area, stretch film square area and water recreation area; according to the seasonal changes and the characteristics of Dengzhou's north-south plant transition zone, the greening layout is mainly divided into: huahaifeige (spring flower area), lvyinzhuqu (summer shade area), frost leaf butterfly dance (autumn leaf area), qiuzhiying Snow (Dongzi District), Kyushu Jiefang (new excellent plant exhibition area) and other five landscape areas. New construction on the original site

Dengzhou Municipal People's government built the old Dengzhou park on January 9, 2006. The new park covers a total area of 560 mu. The overall planning takes the traditional "Deng" character as the framework, with ecological leisure as the main theme, and water as the main landscape. The internal space is integrated by ecological, cultural and modern landscape functions. Along the water potential of central lake, Tucheng River and xiaocaohe River, the wetland landscape area and history are derived The famous people's Park, the scenic recreational line around the lake and many other characteristic functional area landscape contact lines highlight the city's cultural heritage, highlight the "ancient city style, water city landscape, green city characteristics", and opened on April 5, 2007, which has become a beautiful scenic line of Dengzhou city.

Scenic value

The people's Park used to be located in a clay brick factory. For many years, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government strictly restricted the development of the brick factory in accordance with the overall urban planning, and closed it down according to law. With the help of the topography of the brick factory, the people's Park was planned and constructed. The completion and opening of the people's Park is another project of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, which is of great significance to optimize the living environment, improve the urban function and enhance the taste of the city.

As the birthplace of proletarian revolutionist Xi Zhongxun

Dengzhou people's Park is planned to have the third phase project, Xi Zhongxun Memorial Hall for proletarian revolutionaries, to express the infinite memory of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries. In the future, Xi Zhongxun memorial hall, together with Lei Feng Memorial Hall and Dengzhou martyrs memorial hall, will become the most important revolutionary education base in Dengzhou.
