It used to be an old factory in the French concession. After liberation, it became the location of Shanghai automobile brake company, which is affiliated to SAIC. General situation

In the second half of 2003, with the support of the Municipal Economic Commission and the people's Government of Luwan District, Shanghai Huaqing Investment Co., Ltd., Hong Kong fashion life planning consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Industrial Tourism Development Co., Ltd. jointly invested in the old factory building of "Shanghai automobile brake company"

The implementation of development, reconstruction, investment promotion and management has lasted for one year, turning the old factory with unique historical and cultural connotations into a new carrier to attract creative talents, stimulate creative inspiration and gather creative industries. Bridge 8 has nearly 100 famous design companies and famous brands at home and abroad. Industrial creativity and creative industrialization not only protect the old industrial buildings and retain the historical features of urban development, but also create huge social and economic benefits. The reason why No.8 bridge is called "No.8 bridge" is that it is located at No.8 Jianguo Middle Road, and the homonym of "8" and "Fa" in Cantonese is auspicious. At the same time, the floors of each building of No.8 bridge building group are connected by flyovers to facilitate the interaction and movement between enterprises. More importantly, No.8 bridge creative industry park itself is a bridge of friendship, connecting and spreading They communicate with different cultures of different backgrounds and styles at home and abroad.

Park layout

Building 1 is the core venue of bridge 8. It turned out to be a heat treatment workshop. The designer made full use of the storey height of the original workshop and rebuilt it into a three storey building. The first floor is a multi-function hall, and several touch screen computers are set on the information desk at the entrance, which can provide tourists with self-service information about residents in the park. The second floor is the auditorium; the third floor is the VIP semi open box, which gives the guests the supreme enjoyment, while the opposite can be used as the stage of speech or performance according to the needs.

The first floor of Building 2 used to be the warehouse of the brake company, the second floor was the bicycle parking garage, and the original escalator was retained on the outer stairs. The structure of No.2 building is not changed, the floor of the second floor is still the original, and the wall is redone. On the surface of the roof, it looks as it is. In fact, it has been renovated, heat insulation and waterproof treatment have been done, and then the old tiles have been put on again. It covers the same area as before, but some public space has been added in some places. The ceiling of the aisle of Building 2 is very humanized, with glass as the skylight. Although the corridor is very narrow, when the sun falls from the roof, the whole park is warm and warm. Building 3 used to be the location of the sheet metal workshop and bathroom. The infrastructure was not good, so it was basically rebuilt in situ. The interior walls of the office are all made of glass, and the customers are all fashion designers and product designers. These transparent glass walls show some of their products well. The small square on the first floor below can be called the back garden of bridge 8. After work, you can taste coffee, exchange ideas, find inspiration and negotiate business in these open-air teahouses.

Building 5 is basically based on advertising, concept, product design room. The central hall is specially used for exhibitions, new product launches and other activities. There's a special design here. There's a shared meeting room in the middle. The residents can rent it by the hour.

Artists in the park will display their works in the back street. It will also attract works of art from all over the world. People can visit these works of art on their way to and from work.

Building 6 is the living area of the park. The upper floor is the staff restaurant, and the lower floor is the public parking lot. Newcomers, half baked faces, will soon become friends here.

The first floor of building 7 is a French restaurant during the day and a disco after 10 pm. Foreigners especially like the atmosphere here. Many foreign stars often come here for dinner, so it has become one of the main entertainment, leisure and social places for foreigners in Shanghai. Building 7 is occupied by some of the world's top architectural clubs, such as BH, a large architectural design institute in Canada, SOM, a design institute in the United States, etc.
