Human history

They eat every day, and most of them don't eat at noon. Monks don't talk about anything except chanting, practicing Zen and working. As a result, many of them have been practicing in one temple for several years and still don't know each other's name. There are also requirements for believers. Each pool in the temple is marked with specific uses. There are strict distinctions between the male and female in which pool they wash dishes, and which pool they wash vegetables in. The women must leave the temple in the evening and enter it when the sun rises in the morning. Qigong practitioners and outsiders are not allowed to enter the master hall. Smoking is not allowed in the temple. Even if you smoke in the patio or aisle, monks will stop you when they see you.

Overview of temples
Shangyu Duobao temple is located in Baiguan street, Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is a unique place with mountains and rivers. There is Cao'e River in the front and Longshan mountain in the back. The temple is only one hundred meters away from the prosperous business district. Because of the Longshan barrier, it is quiet in the middle of the trouble and free from interference. It is like a paradise in the world. There are three ancient camphors in the temple, which are full of green. Only three or four people can embrace each other. The oldest tree is three or four hundred years old, which is more elegant.
Shangyu has been a nation of cultural relics since ancient times. As early as in ancient times, Emperor Shun avoided chaos and came here to educate, so Cao'e River was originally named Shun River. Shun met all the officials, so Baiguan town got its name. Cao'e, a filial daughter of the Eastern Han Dynasty, cried along the river for seven days because her father was drowned. She was sincere and touching, so she changed the name of the river. Huijiao, Liang Dai, wrote biography of eminent monks, which has been handed down for a long time and has made great contributions to Buddhism. In the last century, Ma Yifu, a great master of Chinese culture, was a close friend of master Hongyi. He learned Confucianism and Buddhism, and was well-known for his erudition and profundity. All of them are Shangyu people, and there are so many of them. For a long time by the sages, Shangyu people are gentle and generous, advocating morality and courtesy.
The former site of the temple had two cultivation huts, Shangmao and Hongzhong. In 1999, in order to promote the construction of local religious culture, then Vice Mayor Chen yingniu, on behalf of Shangyu municipal government, invited master Shangzhi and master xiamin from duobaoshuo temple in Sanmen to come here. He integrated the original two small temples and planned to build a medium-sized Temple covering an area of 37 mu. In April 1999, Shangyu Municipal Bureau of ethnic and Religious Affairs approved the registration in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state. In January 2007, the registration certificate for places of religious activities was issued. In November 2013, Shangyu was removed from the city and divided into districts, and the temple was renamed duobaoshuo temple in Shangyu district. The license issuing authority was the Bureau of ethnic and religious affairs of Shangyu District, Shaoxing City.
The architectural style of the temple is unique. On the central axis of the temple, there are four halls, namely, three gates (Maitreya hall and Dharma protection Hall), Mahatma hall, master Hall (including pharmacist hall and chanting Hall) and Sutra collection building. The wing rooms on both sides are the monk's house (including the Abbot's building), the guest hall, the temple and the bell and Drum Tower. Among them, the main hall is the most magnificent, with a height of 37 meters and an area of 800 square meters. It is dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha and his two disciples. The statue of the master is nine meters high, and the statue of the second disciple is seven meters high.
This temple is a grand temple. Daban ruozong was founded by the eminent monk Neng Haishi in the 20th century in China. According to the Daban ruozong, it carried forward the perfect and pure Buddhism. There are many Taoist schools in Sichuan and Shanxi. This temple and Sanmen duobaoshuo temple are the main temples in the south of the Yangtze River. In his early years, master Zhimin, the abbot, followed master Haigong for more than ten years and got the essence of his general rufa. At the beginning of the nineties of the last century, he began to devote himself to the construction of Taoist temples and the cultivation of monks. At present, there are more than 40 monks living in the temple. They participate in the labor and curriculum study of various departments of the temple (called Liaokou) every day. They practice both blessing and wisdom, and strive to become qualified monks with real ability and practical learning, strict adherence to the precepts, refined cultivation and sufficient teaching evidence. In addition, there are more than 100 permanent residents from all over the world, and Peifu can study.
Under the leadership of master min Gong, the abbot, duobaoshuo temple was built with three treasures, strict commandments, Buddhist dharma, and interest. On the one hand, he actively promoted Buddhism and made good use of life, taught conversion, five commandments and eight fasting to the Buddhist monks, and regularly held activities such as chanting Buddhist scriptures, lecturing and copying Buddhist scriptures. On the other hand, we should carry out public welfare charity, actively respond to the call of the state in case of earthquake and other disasters, and generously donate money and materials to relief the victims. Adhering to the original intention of Buddhism, we insist that we do not make profits from Buddhist activities and do not charge tickets. In the past 20 years since its establishment, Duobao temple has won a good reputation in the Buddhist community, and is famous for its law holding and Dharma holding Daochang.

Gaojian was the hometown of the Qing Dynasty's Supreme Master. Now, the pagoda of the guru stands on the top of the mountain of his hometown. It is a great comfort to watch the mountains and rivers of his hometown day after day and year after year and witness the great changes of his hometown.
Repeatedly salute, right around three turns, to express infinite respect for the guru. The pagoda, hidden by green trees, appears silent and empty under the blue sky and white clouds. The white hada, tied to the tree, dances in the wind, indicating a happy future.
