Sidonggou scenic spot

Sidonggou scenic spot is mainly composed of Sidonggou waterfall group in Datong and Tianshengqiao, duxianqiao, Jiexiao stone square in Qing Dynasty, including Liangchahe Xiuse, Huaping waterfall, Dashuigou waterfall, shidingshan strange stone, fangbeiyunhai, Datong Zhuxi, Datong ancient town, etc. Known as: "ten thousand bamboo garden, small jasper, no failure of the scenic spot."

Sidonggou, formerly known as Min River, is known as Tong because of the four cascades in the river and the exact cave behind the waterfall. Later, it is commonly known as Sidonggou. It is 17 kilometers away from Chishui City, 5 kilometers away from Datong Town, and 4 kilometers away from the scenic spot. There are four waterfalls with different emotions and spirits distributed on the river course. There are nearly 20 mountain streams and springs on both sides of the valley, flying pearls and jade, river valleys with thousands of bamboos, beautiful rocks, beautiful peaks, and exotic flowers and plants, forming a group of waterfalls.

Main attractions

Shuiliandong waterfall

Waterfall, 31 meters high, plant curtain hanging, white silk, sound like thunder, momentum. "Water curtain cave" three scarlet characters carved cliff, more spectacular waterfall magic.

Moon pool waterfall

The waterfall is 43 meters wide and 26 meters high. From a distance, it is as beautiful as a downward curved silver comb.

Flying frog cliff waterfall

The waterfall is 26 meters high and 43 meters wide. There is a huge stone like a giant elephant in the upstream; there is a tadpole like stone beach in the lake in front of the elephant. The shape is like a snake, and the front of the snake is a stone frog, as if the snake is chasing and eating the stone frog. It forms a picture of snake and frog playing in the water.

Bailongtan waterfall

Sidonggou waterfall is the largest waterfall in the group. The waterfall is 60 meters high and 23 meters wide. The sound of the waterfall is like thunder, the rain and fog are diffuse, and the flow is straight down. It is magnificent and soul stirring. Waterfall under the "white dragon pool" dragon turn water boiling, flying pearls splash jade, silver flashing. There is a huge stone under the waterfall, which is like a giant frog.

The tourists walk along the minxizui at the entrance of the scenic spot, pass the ancient road and bridge, pass the deep winding path of green bamboo, pass five longevity turtles, drink longevity turtle spring, and walk 1 km to the front of bibotan, the first cave waterfall. In front of you, you can see a spectacular waterfall landscape. Yijian waterfall is 37.5 meters wide and 31 meters high. It is like a silver curtain. Natural caves are hidden behind the waterfall. A stone path passes through the cave behind the waterfall. Form a wonderful "water curtain cave" landscape. The "bonsai in the cave" makes the landscape behind the waterfall more wonderful.

Bailongtan waterfall

In front of bibotan, there are two huge stones, one for the sky and the other for the star watching stone. Up along the cave, you can see the "Eagle pearl map" by the stream. A stone by the stream is like an eagle, quietly waiting for the stone in the shore water. Pearl is slowly rising from the water, going up to cover the empty green bamboo, looking at the bonsai in the water. Across the stream, there is a "Guanyin Temple" under the banyan trees. One kilometer from the second cave, there are wonderful "water bonsai", "turtle stone", "coffin stone", "Tianshu stone" in the stream. To the three cave waterfall, is the "giant frog shower" Swan pool scenic spot, only to see a stone frog squatting in front of the beach, on both sides of the silver waterfall hanging high, waterfall 26 meters high, 43 meters wide. There is a huge stone in the upstream, which looks like a running bull. In front of the bull, there is a long island in the water, which looks like a snake. In front of the snake, there is a cliff, which looks like a frog. The snake is chasing the frog, which is the Legend of "snake frog playing in the water".

Danxia wonder

Danxia cave is another wonder of Sidonggou scenic area. The stone eaves are tall, the walls are complete, dry and airy, bright and spacious. The waterfall on the eaves is like a curtain of mist. The green bamboo outside the cave is cool. The red and gorgeous rock walls inside the cave make the bamboo forest full of red luster. It really feels like a blessed cave and a fairy palace outside the world.

Duxian bridge

Duxian bridge is located on the left side of the road in front of Sidong scenic area, on the hillside opposite to the original Yonghe township government, 30 meters above km, 500 meters above the mouth of sawmin river. It is a natural stone bridge across the gully. The bridge is a 20 meters long, 3 meters wide and about 2 meters thick huge stone bridge made of Danxia sandstone collapsed through water joints. The bridge is 6.2 meters high. The bridge is solid, flat and surrounded by green bamboo trees. According to local people's legend, people with virtue and filial piety walk on the bridge and feel like fairies. A man with an evil mind can neither cross this bridge nor become an immortal. Experts and scholars at home and abroad praised the landscape as "rare in China".

Sidonggou Miao village is about 60 yuan. There are many hotels in the county, and the price is about the same.

Traffic information

1. Chishui is closer to Chongqing than Zunyi. At Caiyuanba bus station in Chongqing, there are direct buses to Chishui. There are two flights at 11:40 in the morning and 13:30 in the afternoon. The ticket price is 84 yuan. It takes about five hours to get to Chishui. If you can catch the bus to shizhanggou (the last one is 16:30), you'd better get to shizhanggou to live. Because the water is only released in the morning, the afternoon is not beautiful.

2. Chishui bus station has a special bus to the scenic spot, every half an hour, the fare is 5 yuan. The area of the scenic spot is not small. Tourists who feel tired can choose to sit on the slide bar for 10 yuan (one journey between two holes). All the young men who carry the poles have work licenses, and they are part-time tour guides.

3. The next night at shizhanggou, 20 yuan by bus. It's better to take a bus. Catch a bus to Chishui at 1:30 p.m. and take a bus to Sidonggou at Sanchakou. There are a lot of cars from Chishui to Sidonggou, and they finish late. Sidonggou also has drifting, which is said to be very exciting.
