The project is invested by Jiangsu Changsheng Medicinal Plant Co., Ltd., and jointly planned and designed by Landscape Design Institute of Zhejiang University of technology and Zhejiang urban construction landscape design institute. Guangxi Medicinal Botanical Garden provides technical support to comply with the world economic development trend of "low energy consumption and high energy efficiency", make use of the location and economic advantages of Yangtze River Delta, build an international development platform of traditional Chinese medicine industry, and finally build a new platform It has become a world-class famous garden of medicinal plants and a national demonstration base for scientific development of low-carbon environmental protection.

The project is implemented in three phases

The first phase of the project covers an area of 3000 mu. It is planned and designed according to the standard of national 5A scenic spot. It is a professional medicinal botanical garden with the collection of medicinal plant resources in the Yangtze River Basin as the center, and integrates resource protection, scientific research, popular science education, tourism and leisure.

The second phase of the project covers an area of about 1500 mu, focusing on the industrialized production of valuable Chinese herbal medicines. It will build large-scale intelligent greenhouses and Chinese herbal medicine trading center, making it a demonstration base for high-tech agriculture.

The third phase of the project will build science and technology research and development center, health examination center and expert building and other supporting projects.

The north entrance service functional area of the main entrance of Yangtze River medicinal botanical garden / China Changsheng Island Scenic Area is the gateway space of the park. The design takes a square and atmospheric waterscape square space as the prelude, connects with a group of service buildings with the charm of Rugao traditional architecture and modern Jiangnan garden architecture through a double bridge, and creates a unique era through modern materials and traditional space charm A sense of entrance space. Landscape culture square

The landscape culture square, with a height of 18 meters and a diameter of more than 40 meters, is located in the circulation system of one of the eight systems in the park. The south side of the main entrance of the park is connected with the entrance through Changsheng Baishou road. The honeysuckle herb theme park collected and planted honeysuckle varieties from four major producing areas in China.
