Aiqing poetry museum is located in Shihezi city. It was planned and invested in 1994, and was officially completed in November 1998. In memory of Aiqing's unforgettable 15 years in Shihezi Reclamation Area, it is the only poetry named after Aiqing in China

Aiqing poetry Museum, the first poetry Museum named after a poet in China, is located in the center of Shihezi, a beautiful border city with convenient transportation and elegant environment, surrounded by green trees and lawn and flower beds. This modern poetry Museum has novel and unique shape, elegant style and complete functions. It covers an area of 6500 square meters and a construction area of 2484 square meters.
Aiqing poetry museum was planned and invested in 1994, and the construction project was officially implemented in 1995, with a total investment of 3.5 million yuan, including 2.5 million yuan invested by the Eighth Agricultural Division and Shihezi Municipal People's government, and 1 million yuan invested by BINGTUAN, with a construction area of about 10 mu and a usable area of 2484 square meters. It was officially completed in November 1998. Some leaders of the autonomous region and Ai Qing's wife Gao Ying all attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Ai Qing, the representative of Chinese "red" poet, who is famous for his poems such as Dayan River, my nanny, came to Xinjiang production and Construction Corps at the end of 1959, and formally arrived in Shihezi city of the Eighth Agricultural Division in 1960. In 1967, Ai Qing was sent to the 144th regiment of the 8th agricultural division of the remote company, which is known as "little Siberia", to work in the most difficult conditions. At the end of 1975, Ai Qing returned to Beijing and was officially rehabilitated in 1978. Ai Qing lived in Shihezi for 15 years.
Ai Qing had deep feelings for Shihezi, and wrote a poem for Shihezi: "I have been to many places, and this city is the youngest. It is so beautiful that people fall in love with it at first sight. It is not a mirage or a fairyland in Penglai. Every plant in it is made of blood and sweat."
The Aiqing poetry Museum, built to commemorate Aiqing's 15 years in Shihezi Reclamation Area, is the only poetry Museum named after Aiqing in China, covering an area of about 6700 square meters. The Museum covers an area of 2484 square meters with a total investment of 3.5 million yuan. When the memorial was completed, Mrs. Ai Qing attended the ribbon cutting ceremony in person.
It is the common wish of 650000 people of all nationalities in the reclamation area to build a poetry museum with permanent memorial significance named after the poet. It was approved by Ai Qing before his death, warmly supported by the leaders of the Chinese writers' Association, and directly concerned and supported by the Party committee of Shihezi city of BINGTUAN and the Eighth Agricultural Division. The foundation was laid on May 21, 1996, and a grand opening ceremony was held on November 6, 1998.
Since its opening, the Aiqing poetry Museum has received more than 30000 leaders, literary and art celebrities and audiences from Gan Yinglie, deputy secretary of the Party group of the China Federation of literary and art circles, Zhu entao, Vice Minister of the Ministry of public security, Shu Ting, Chen Zhongshi, Bai Hua, Yang kuangman, Yang Mu, Wu Yigong, the Museum of contemporary Chinese literature, the Museum of Chinese revolutionary history, and the Museum of Chinese revolutionary military Person time.
In 2000, Aiqing poetry museum was selected as the "life creation base of Chinese Writers Association" by Chinese Writers Association, and became an important patriotic education base in Shihezi. The "green wind" Poetry magazine, one of the three major poetry magazines in China, is distributed at home and abroad.

In front of Aiqing poetry museum is a wide poet square, which has four exhibition halls and a multi-functional academic hall. 1、 In the second exhibition hall, there are 164 pictures of Ai Qing, 9 sets of clothes, 32 manuscripts, 54 versions of Ai Qing's poems and works, and 1 precious item The third exhibition hall is the contemporary celebrity painting and calligraphy exhibition hall, with more than 100 paintings and calligraphy of Zang Kejia, Xin Fengxia, Gongmu, Wei Wei and other celebrities. There are three of Ai Qing's own handwriting and 66 national famous writers, poets, calligraphers and painters' calligraphy and painting treasures presented to AI Qing himself or the poetry Museum.
Ai Qing
Ai Qing is a great poet in China and a world cultural celebrity. With his lifelong love and praise for land, people, light and fire, as well as his hard to shoulder handed down masterpiece and tenacious personality charm, he has won the wide respect and esteem of people in China and even all over the world. On February 17, 1910, Ai Qing was born in a small village called "Fantian Jiang" near Jinhua and Yiwu in Zhejiang Province. Ai Qing was born in a landlord's family. His original name was Jiang Zhenghan. His name was Yangyuan and his name was Haicheng. Because the fortune teller said "Ke parents", he was sent to Dayanhe's family, and his famous lyric poem "Dayanhe, my nanny" came into being. Ai Qing was particularly interested in painting and paper cutting in his youth. He went to Paris in 1929 and returned to China in 1932. He was sentenced to six years' imprisonment for joining the "Chinese left wing artists League". In 1935, Ai Qing got out of prison ahead of time, joined in the Anti Japanese advanced elements, and arrived in Zhangjiakou in 1945. In the 1950s, Ai Qing visited the Soviet Union, Chile and many other countries, and married Gao Ying in 1956. However, he was wrongly classified as a "rightist" in 1957. In 1958, he was assigned to Beidahuang. In 1959, he came to Xinjiang and was not officially rehabilitated until 1978. On May 5, 1996, Ai Qing, a famous poet, died of illness.
