Hutou village is located in the south of Xiaosong Town, 13 kilometers away from the urban area. It has 8 natural villages and 17 villager groups. There are 864 households and 3284 people in Hutou village. There are three party branches under the general Party branch, namely public service center, sports activity center and fruit and vegetable professional cooperative. There are 88 party members. The total land area of the village is 16.28 square kilometers, including 4482 mu of cultivated land and 17308 mu of mountainous land. In 2012, the per capita income of farmers was 9688 yuan. The provincial key project Nanping 500kV substation is located in chentian natural village, with convenient transportation and superior location. In 2008, it was identified as the pilot village of Nanping central village construction.

The rate of tap water entering households in the whole village reached 100%. Through the transformation, the villagers were able to drink safe and healthy drinking water.
