Zuoshan temple, also known as Zuoshan temple, is a provincial cultural relic protection unit 300 meters south of Guozhuang village, Maji Town, Dingtao County. It was originally named Xinghua temple. It was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and was most prosperous in the Sui, Tang and Song dynasties. The Ming Dynasty temple covers an area of more than 2.67 hectares. From south to north, there are more than 300 temples, including theater tower, temple gate, bell tower, Drum Tower, Guandi temple, Baiyi granny temple, Longwang temple and zushi temple. Among them, Tianwang hall, Shiba Luohan hall, LIFO hall, shuifo hall, cangjing hall and baishen hall are the most magnificent. The statues in the hall are exquisitely carved and beautiful in shape. The statues in the hall are vivid in various shapes. In the southwest corner of the temple, there is Baocheng pagoda, 6 relics under it, and Zuo Qiuming's tomb behind the mountain. According to the general annals of Shandong, "Shannan is the governance of the old state (zuocheng), which is affiliated to Gangfu. The trees reflect each other. " At that time, the temple was tall and magnificent, with towering ancient trees, shady trees and pleasant scenery. In the spring and Autumn period, Zuo Qiuming's father was buried in Zuoshan. Later generations have a poem that "the sages of the past were upright in the spring and Autumn period, the air was verdant, the emperor Qiu was shining, the Taishi had been with the mountains and trees, and the setting sun still shone on the top of Zuoshan". "Zuogang linyue" has also become one of the eight ancient scenes of Dingtao. Zuoshan temple was built in memory of Zuo Qiuming, a famous historian and writer.
