Daheishan
Daheishan is known as the first mountain in southern Liaoning, originally known as Dahe mountain, daheshang mountain and Laohushan. It is located about 5 kilometers east of the central city of Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. The main peak is 663.1 meters above sea level and covers an area of 23.79 square kilometers.
Daheishan is the birthplace of Dalian ancient culture. It integrates natural landscape and cultural landscape. It is approved as national AAA scenic spot, National Forest Park and National Geopark. At the same time, Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism are integrated. It is a famous religious Holy Land in Eastern Liaoning, a cultural relic protection unit in Liaoning Province, and a classic route for mountaineering tourism in coastal cities.
Historical evolution
Daheishan was first named in the Ming Dynasty. The epitaph of Shengshui Temple rebuilt in the third year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1490) was called Daheishan. But when the epitaph of Guanyinge was rebuilt in the sixth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1527), it was called Daheishan. The complete picture of Fangyu written by Gu Zuyu in the Qing Dynasty was called Daheishan. After the Russo Japanese War, it began to be called Daheishan and Laohushan. In 1980, the Dalian municipal government launched a place name standardization activity, which unified and standardized the name of Daheishan.

Daheishan is located in the geographical center of Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, 25 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 23.79 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 400 meters. The main peak is 663.1 meters above sea level. It is a "mountain" shaped mountain, with Changbai Mountain and Qianshan Mountain in the north and Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in the south.
Geology and geomorphology
Daheishan belongs to Changbai Mountain system, with the main peak of 663.1 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the suburb of Dalian. The main body is in the north-south direction, the upper part is steep, mostly bare rock; the middle part is slightly gentle, with shrubs; the bottom layer is thick, with orchards, forming a forest belt around the mountain.
Daheishan mountain has ancient rocks, and the rock strata from top to bottom are composed of three parts: the quartzite on the mountain belongs to Sinian period 800 million to 600 million years ago, forming the majestic and precipitous main peak of Daheishan mountain. There are marble in the mountain. Due to the influence of structure, some of them have developed into "water absorbing stone" which is often used for bonsai. The lower part of the mountain belongs to the Archean metamorphic rock series 2.5 billion years ago, which formed mylonite under the action of nappe shear force. Mylonite is the oldest rock and stratum in Dalian area. This also makes the age difference between the strata at the foot of the mountain and the surrounding plains hundreds of millions of years and tens of millions of years.

Daheishan belongs to temperate monsoon climate, with no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer. It has four distinct seasons, with an average annual temperature of 10.5 ℃.

There are more than 120 kinds of woody plants in the forest. In addition, there are oak, maple and saltwood and other color leaf trees. Wild animals are mainly rabbits, foxes, pheasants, cuckoos, sand chickens and so on. The mineral deposits are mainly asbestos, dolomite, copper and iron.

Xiangshui view
Xiangshui temple is also called Xiangshui temple. Xiangshui temple is a Taoist temple. Due to historical reasons, Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism are also integrated here. This view is also called Xiangshui temple. It is located in the northwest of Daheishan, five kilometers east of Jinzhou City. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty. It was repaired many times in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The largest one was the reconstruction of three Ying halls, five guest houses and a mountain gate in the first year of Qianlong (1736 A.D.). Beisha City
Beisha City, the mysterious city of the war between militarists, is the Daheishan mountain city. It was built in Jin Dynasty. It is one of the famous ancient military castles in Liaodong Peninsula. The city wall is built along the ridge of Daheishan mountain, around shanliangwei gorge and along the mountain. The wall is made of stones of different sizes. The width of the wall is about 3.3 meters, and the residual height is 3-5 meters. At fenghuangkou in the southwest corner of the city wall, there is a castle, which is called Guanmen village because it lives in the valley. Now it has collapsed, and all of it remains the old site. In ancient times, Beisha city was a place for military strategists. There was the Second World War in Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is recorded in Sui Shu · biography of laihu'er and Zizhi Tongjian. Up to now, the ancient castle has no military significance, leaving the ruins to the tourists.
Chaoyang Temple
Chaoyang temple is a Buddhist temple founded in the Ming Dynasty. It is located at the West foot of Daheishan. Because of its beautiful scenery, it is called "Mingxiu Temple" in history. It was renamed Chaoyang temple in the sixth year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty. The whole temple faces south. The front and back mountain gates are built on the top of the two hills, and the two halls are built on the sunny slope of the back mountain. On the whole, it looks like a mountain in the back and a mountain in the front. Therefore, people use negative Yin to describe it. It is also famous for "Chaoyang Jixue", one of the eight scenic spots in Jinzhou.
Chaoyang temple has two entrances and three mountain gates, covering an area of about 30000 square meters. The first mountain gate is Chuihua gate with a plaque of "Chaoyang ancient temple" on the lintel. The second Mountain Gate is in the shape of a archway, on which the huge plaque of "Chaoyang Temple" mentioned by the great calligrapher Mr. Qigong hangs. The banner of "Wanfa solemn" written by Zhao Puchu, President of China Buddhist Association, is on the back of benshanmen. Through the third gate, you can enter the backyard, which is also the main courtyard of Chaoyang temple. In the middle is the main hall of Daxiong temple, in the East is Tianhou hall, in the west is Yaowang hall, and on both sides of the main hall are two generals, hum and ha. In the center of the hall is a statue of Sakyamuni, the Buddha. The murals on three walls record his whole journey of becoming a monk, practicing and becoming a Buddha. On the left side is a statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva riding a lion. On the right side of the statue is Puxian Bodhisattva, on the left is Ananda, on the right is Kaya.
Taoist temple of the Tang Dynasty
Tang Palace Taoist temple is one of the famous ancient temples in Daheishan. Located in the south of Daheishan, it was founded in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. There are two ways to ascend tangwangdian: South from guanmenzhaikou via 18pan on foot, north from Chaoyang Temple southeast mountain road. The Taoist temple of the Tang Dynasty is only 150 meters away from the top of Dahei Mountain. You can see the sunrise when you climb the mountain. Every year on May 18 of the lunar calendar, a large-scale Temple Fair will be held in the Taoist temple of the Tang Dynasty. The Taoist temple fair in the Tangwang palace of Daheishan is the most Taoist festival form. The temple fair contains a large number of Chinese traditional Taoist elements. It is a celebration activity with Taoist culture and folk traditional characteristics.
Shigu Temple
Shigu temple, the Tang Palace, was founded in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is said that it was built by Yuchi Jingde, a general in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties, for Li Shimin. Li Shimin garrisoned here during his eastern expedition to Koguryo, so many relics here are related to Li Shimin, so they are called Tang Palace. In the May 1st year of Qianlong reign in Qing Dynasty, the Han Army in Jinzhou collected money from the people of zhenghuang banner to repair it. Daoguang and the early years of the Republic of China repaired it many times. There were two round stones in front of the temple, which were stirred by the mountain wind, and the percussion sound was like a drum, so it was named shigu temple.

Self driving route
Take Zhenxing road to the entrance of Jinzhou District, instead of Jinzhou District, go along the left road, turn left at the traffic lights at the intersection of yangu gas, then pass another traffic light, turn left at the intersection in front of the City College of Dalian University of technology, pass Xinglin community, and reach the entrance of Daheishan scenic spot.
Bus routes
1. Take the light rail from the north square of Dalian railway station and get off at the Development Zone Station. Then transfer to the No.4 bus in the east of Jinzhou district and get off at Xinglin community. You can get there on foot.
