Huilongguan
Huilongguan is located in the north of Beijing City, 16 kilometers away from Deshengmen in the south, 18 kilometers away from Changping city in the north, Tiantongyuan in the East, on the east side of Badaling Expressway, not far from Shahe Town. From Huangtu Nandian in the east to erbazi in the northwest. In the south is Shangdi village, Dongbeiwang Township, Haidian District, named after Guan.
The origin of the name
More than 600 years ago, at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, Huilongguan area was still a grassland for horse herding. The nearby Xierqi and Xisanqi were villages formed by the residence of the soldiers of horse herding. In the middle of Ming Dynasty, Emperor Hongzhi went to Tianshou mountain to pay a visit to the imperial mausoleum. He went back and forth through the horse pasture and built Xuanfu palace here. The emperor was infatuated with Taoism, which caused great dissatisfaction among the ministers of culture and military. When he was practicing Taoism in the palace, he had to listen to the noisy ministers, so emperor Hongzhi thought about finding another place. On the ground of visiting the mausoleum, he passed down an imperial edict to build a Taoist temple on the horse pasture in the south of Shahe River, which was named "Xuanfu Temple". Daoguan temple was built in the 17th year of Hongzhi and the 10th year of Zhengde, and was eventually renamed Xuanfu palace. The project lasted for 12 years.
According to historical records, the Xuanfu palace was a large-scale one. The gate of the palace had both inside and outside, with bell tower, Drum Tower, dragon hall, tiger hall, left and right hall, main hall, North and South abbot, etc. The main hall is dedicated to the God of Xuanwu, namely Zhenwu emperor. The whole building "Lingong Beiyu, outstanding Xiaohan, magnificent and perfect, Danbi shining", has become a grand view of the north of Kyoto City. Obviously, Xuanfu palace was a royal Taoist temple in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, and also served as a palace on the way to and from the mausoleum of the Ming emperor. After its completion, the Ming emperors paid a visit to the mausoleum in Tianshou mountain and stayed here on their way back to Luan. Probably for this reason, Xuanfu palace, also known as "Huilongguan", has been handed down until now.
Historical evolution
legend
Huilongguan, the place name, originated from Huilongguan village, a local village. This name can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty, and originated from the Ming emperor's visit to the Ming Tombs. It is said that there was an old Taoist temple here, called Xuanfu temple. It was a place for the emperor to rest on his way back to Beijing after paying homage to the mausoleum. Over time, this view was called Huilongguan, and now the ruins of Daoguan are nowhere to be found. Now people often mistakenly think that the site of a temple in the south of Huilongguan village is the site of Huilongguan, but it is not. In the north of the village, there is also a temple site of the same scale. The two temples are just ancient temples in Huilongguan village, commonly known as South Temple and North Temple. It has nothing to do with Xuanfu view. In the old days, there were temples in the nearby villages, and most of them were two, divided into North and south. Now, to the east of Huilongguan station, on the north side of the railway, there is a protected old locust tree, which is the relic of the nanmiao temple in Beidian village. At that time, there was a Qing Dynasty iron bell hanging on the tree. There is a North shop, there is a South shop, South shop is now the original site of the "wide house.". Beinandian is also called Huangtu Dian, so it is rich in loess.
When the Ming Dynasty emperors went out to visit the jingshuipo street in the mausoleum, most of the Loess in the road was collected from this place. Now two villages have disappeared and moved to Beidian Jiayuan, Longxiang district and Nandian new village.
development
But Huilongguan community has not been built. The core area of this area before is not Huilongguan village now. It's now the location of the northern suburb farm. It's the open space to the north of Huilongguan hotel. That is the original site of the northern suburb farm organ (now Longguan building). The original three storey office building has been demolished and ready to build a commercial residential building here. The northern suburb farm was first known as the Sino Vietnamese friendly people's commune. After the tension between China and Vietnam, it was renamed the Sino Japanese friendly people's commune. After that, the commune was abolished and changed into a farm, and all towns and their agricultural and sideline industries within the scope of Shahe in the north, Xisanqi in the south, Dongsanqi in the East and Huilongguan in the West were under the jurisdiction.
Now Huilongguan community is located in the east of this core area. At that time, in addition to a few rows of blue brick bungalows of farm organs, it was basically farmland, and there were sanhezhuang (now Fengya garden), Zhouzhuang (now yunqu garden), Beidian (now Longteng garden), Liangzhuang (now matrix community) villages. The earliest residential area here is now the family home of Beijiao farm, which has several rows of bungalows for more than 30 years. After the completion of the farm office building, it became the earliest building here. Although it was only a three story red brick building, it was also the highest building here at that time. It was more than twenty years ago. A few years later, the first dormitory building was built in the northern suburb farm, and high-rise residential buildings began to be built here. This building is the No.1 building of the family home of the farm, which has a history of 20 years. After that, two to six buildings were built one after another, and large-scale residential buildings began to appear here.
After Beijing began to implement the housing reform and the real estate boom, the farm decided to move its subordinate enterprise, the chemical plant in the northern suburb, to build a residential building, which is now the longhuayuan community. At the same time, ten li long street was built to connect Huilongguan and Huoying, so as to prepare for the future development of the eastern part of Huilongguan. Huilongguan East Street, the main road in Huilongguan community, was built on the basis of Shili long street. This road is also one of the only existing roads in this area. Houhuayuan real estate bought the land from the west of the family home of the farm to the present Badaling Expressway to build a residential area, which is now huihuayuan.
After the implementation of affordable housing construction by Beijing municipal government, Tianhong Group took a fancy to Huilongguan and began to invest in the development and construction of Huilongguan Cultural residential area. Since then, it has become the largest construction site in Beijing. After several years of construction, the completion of the first phase, second phase and now the sixth phase of the community has brought about earth shaking changes in this area. In the past, the farmland was full of tall buildings, and the fields were crisscross with asphalt. People from all directions gathered here and began a new life.
Looking at this place again, I feel very much that Huilongguan has changed from a village to a city!
