Mount Tiantai
Tiantai Mountain is located in the northwest of Shijingshan District, southwest of Xiangshan Park. North to Haidian District guajia tower, South to Shuangquan temple, West to wufuzhuang, Tanyu, east to the north and South horse farm.
The main peak is 430.8 meters above sea level. Because there is a platform in the west of the main peak, it is called Tiantai Mountain. Because of the name of Tiantai Mountain, it is also called Tiantai Mountain and Tiantai Mountain. Tiantai is also called Tiantai temple. In the old days, the temple opened on March 18 every year. The Dabei hall on the middle road of the temple is the center of the central plains where there are eight statues of Avalokitesvara in gold lacquer wood. On both sides of the hall are eight statues of Yuanjun in Bixia. This kind of phenomenon that Buddhism and Taoism work together is rare in the suburbs of Beijing. The back hall is for the monk to sit in the body. It is commonly known as the devil Bodhisattva monk. It is said that it is the emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty. In 1917 and 1924, Feng Yuxiang lived in Tiantai Mountain charity Temple twice, leaving important stone carvings such as "diligence and thrift is treasure", "true hardship", "farming and reading", "indifference", which is a summer resort. Charity temple is a cultural relic under district protection.
Main attractions
Tiantai Mountain is a tourist area under development. There are many villages, such as Heishitou, Shuangquan temple, nanmachang, bandenggou, zhuanmatai, Manjing, Chenjiagou, etc. there are lush forests in the valley. There are Shuangquan temple, wanshanqiao, sining temple and other historic sites. There are Lala lake reservoir and nanmachang reservoir. Tiantai Mountain Economic Tourism and Holiday Development Zone covers an area of 1388 hectares. It is located in the northwest of the area, connecting Badachu in the East and Fahai Temple in the south. There are many green peaks in the area, with a green coverage rate of 60%.
Charity Temple
Tiantai Mountain northwest peak charity temple, also known as Tiantai temple, commonly known as the devil temple. According to the records of Yanjing in the Qing Dynasty, "Tiantai Mountain is at moshikou in the west of Beijing, where cars and horses can pass through, that is, the mountain behind Cuiwei mountain. The temple opens on March 18 every year, and the incense is very popular. The gate of the temple is at the foot of the south mountain, and the temple is at the top of the north mountain. There are three or four flowing springs along the mountain, which are endless Located in the north and facing the south, the charity temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. It is a temple integrating Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and folk gods. There are 24 temples in the charity temple, which can be divided into three parts: Buddhism in the west, Taoism in the East and folk gods outside the temple. There is Wenchang Pavilion on the far gate of charity temple, the Buddhist temple on the West Road, and the reception hall and reclining Buddha Hall on the north of Wenchang Pavilion. Along the mountain road, we walked more than 300 meters through the "seven stars" Temple of folk gods outside the courtyard to the Shanmen hall. The gate hall faces south, three rooms wide, and the stone forehead is engraved with the word "ancient temple charity Temple". Guan Yu and Wei Tuo are worshipped in the hall, standing opposite each other, commonly known as "master Temple". The hall of crossing the mountain gate is the great compassion altar, which is also called the great compassion hall. It has a five room wide surface, a hard mountain ridge, a front porch and a back building. The hard mountain ridge is decorated with exquisite brick carvings. In the hall of the great compassion altar, a thousand hands and a thousand eyes of Avalokitesvara are worshipped, and the East and west side halls are Jialan hall and dizang hall. Behind the great compassion altar is the Sutra Pavilion, commonly known as the ancient Buddha building and the demon lord hall. The hall has two floors and five rooms in width. The first floor is dedicated to the real body of the demon king, and the second floor is dedicated to the third Buddha. The East and west side halls are Yuantong hall and Damo hall.
East Road Taoist temple charity Temple East Road is a Taoist temple, with two courtyards and three parts of dongshanpo. The main hall of the front courtyard is the hall of three emperors, facing south. Dongpeidian is the hall of wealth, and Sanhuang hall is followed by Zhaitang. The main hall in the backyard is luzu hall, facing south. There are Jade Emperor hall, Tianqi hall and Longwang hall on the east slope, all facing south.
From south to north, there are seven temples: Xiaocai temple, wangsangrandma temple, Maitreya Temple, Niangniang Temple, Huoshen temple, luzu temple and Mawang temple, which are called "seven stars".

Emperor Shunzhi became a monk in Tiantai Mountain
The devil Bodhisattva died in the early morning of March 15, 1678, and his real body was not corrupt. His disciples worshipped him in the niche of "Lotus Pavilion" of charity temple. It is said that the demon king Bodhisattva was Shunzhi, the first emperor to enter the pass of the Qing Dynasty. The people of the Eight Banners worship the demon king Bodhisattva most. Every year on March 15 of the lunar calendar, the people of the Eight Banners in Daxing and Haidian in the capital pay homage to the demon King Bodhisattva devoutly. People who live in longensi village of jianfushan (keqinyu) say that the devil Bodhisattva is emperor Shunzhi. The travel guide to laopeiping of the Republic of China states that Chongque in the backyard has five couplets. Inside for the Buddha, the Department of meat fetus sitting, long quasi Fengmu, appearance Yingwu, just like heaven and man. It is said that it is the result of cultivation after emperor Shunzhi became a monk. The temple monk is called the burning lamp ancient Buddha. His body became holy. He was granted by the emperor of Qing Dynasty and was called the devil monk. The plaques and inscriptions were written by the emperor from the 44th to 47th year of Qianlong. There is a stone jar on the side of the hall, which was originally used for burial when the Buddha sat down. It is said that two days after the Buddha body entered the jar, it smelled strange fragrance and came out of the jar. In his will, Tu zhongzun took out the body and put it in the niche. It has been hanging for 300 years without any damage. " It is said that in the winter of 1937, a fire broke out in the charity temple, burning down the real body of the demon Bodhisattva.
Feng Yuxiang goes to Mount Tai four times
Feng Yuxiang (1882-1948). Anhui Chaoxian (now Chaohu City) people, word Huanzhang, the Chinese Kuomintang patriotic general, military origin. General Feng Yuxiang is an outstanding patriot and a sincere friend of the Communist Party of China. Feng Yuxiang has a special love for Tiantai Mountain. He affectionately called Tiantai Mountain "Tiantai Mountain". Feng Yuxiang once went to Tiantai Mountain four times and lived in charity temple three times. In 1912, Yuan Shikai decided to regroup the army, which was called the Beibu army. It was divided into the front, back, left and right middle five routes. Feng Yuxiang served as the former battalion commander in the left Beibu army. In the middle of May, he was ordered to go to Sanjiadian in the west of Beijing to guard the ordnance Bureau of the army. In his spare time, Feng Yuxiang often goes for a walk and play in Tiantai Mountain, saying that "there is a danger that one man will be in charge of the pass and ten thousand people will not be allowed to open it in this area. If there is a war, as long as the terrain is familiar, many of these places can be greatly utilized. " After being stationed in Sanjiadian for half a year, he was ordered to garrison in the old powder Bureau of pingzemen. In the spring of 1913, he was ordered to open back to Sanjiadian and garrison the ordnance Bureau.
In March 1917, Feng Yuxiang was the commander of the sixth road patrol camp of Zhengding Prefecture, which was directly under the jurisdiction of Zhili Province. He felt that "he was idle every day and had nothing to do", so he submitted a letter to resign. He couldn't even say anything. He was so angry that he had to call himself ill and go to Tiantai Mountain to "recuperate" and live in the charity temple. On July 1, when Zhang Xun was restored, Feng Yuxiang immediately went down the mountain, pawned his own property, used it as military capital, and led the Ministry to attack Zhang Xun.
In October 1924, Feng Yuxiang launched a "Beijing coup" to overthrow Cao Kun's bribery government and drive Puyi out of the Forbidden City. On November 25 of the same year, Feng Yuxiang went to Tiantai Mountain to live in seclusion. He and his family lived in the small courtyard of luzu hall, the east courtyard of charity temple.
On July 6, 1928, Feng Yuxiang visited Sun Zhongshan Mausoleum in Biyun temple with the commanders of the Northern Expedition army. The next day, he revisited his hometown and visited the old sites. He rode a donkey to Tiantai Mountain, where he once lived in seclusion, and spent the night in charity temple.
During his seclusion in Tiantai Mountain, Feng Yuxiang wrote five couplets on December 1, 2 and 4, 1924
