Development history
Go is a splendid traditional cultural treasure of the Chinese nation and a unique creation of Chinese wisdom. It perfectly integrates science, art and competition. It has been prosperous for thousands of years. It has developed into a popular intellectual sport in the world. In order to vividly record the development of go, the quintessence of Chinese culture, witness history and supplement history, Hangzhou will build a Chinese go Museum.
Chinese go has a long history, leaving a rich cultural heritage. However, in today's era, go is more regarded as a kind of competition, but the excavation, collation and research of go culture are relatively weak, and there is no "China go Museum" in the real sense. In the process of making Hangzhou branch of Chinese Chess Academy bigger and stronger, Hangzhou decided to build "China go Museum" relying on Tianyuan Building, where Hangzhou branch of Chinese Chess Academy is located, so as to enhance the cultural connotation of Hangzhou branch of Chinese Chess Academy and display and spread China's profound go culture. The "China go Museum" will give full play to the advantages of Tianyuan Building, become a spiritual and Cultural Palace with high quality and handed down value integrating go practicality, exhibition, collection, exchange and training, and lay a foundation for building a "museum without walls" for the whole city of Hangzhou.
architectural composition
In terms of design, the lobby on the first floor will be decorated with the appearance of "heaven is round and place" to symbolize the chessboard and chess pieces; the contents of the exhibition are from the origin of go, the romance of Wei and Jin Dynasties, the elegance of Tang and Song Dynasties, the flourishing age of Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Millennium chess pulse of modern transformation.
Because it is built on Tianyuan Building, the museum and the lobby share a space, and the reception function of the lobby and the guiding function of the museum are arranged together. In the future, when you go to Tianyuan Building for accommodation and meetings, and wait for registration in the lobby for more than ten minutes, you can follow the commentators to visit and understand the history of Chinese go culture.
On the second floor and the 34th floor are restaurants, which will be decorated with Weiqi paintings. The tableware is also round and smooth, which is similar to the shape of chess pieces.
The third floor is the teaching and training area. On the corridor, there are poems and calligraphy works about go by celebrities of all ages, forming a long corridor of chess culture poetry.

The half dead circle was interrupted and the whole life was divided into two parts. The flying geese are not false wings, and the array Qi is cloudless. To play with Wu Yi, to be happy and quiet.
