Scenic spot construction
Yunxiu temple is an ancient temple built in the Song Dynasty. It is located in the deep mountains. It has been cold and hot for more than 800 years. Before, there was only a stone path leading to the temple. Tourists could only walk up the mountain and transport materials. A mountain road has been built from Baotashan village of Sanhe township to the front of the temple. The completion of Shangshan highway has brought hope for the appreciation of surrounding land and the increase of farmers' income. In 2007, a Hangzhou boss took a fancy to an open space in front of the temple and was ready to open a farmhouse there. The village also had the idea of building a parking lot, tourist souvenirs and local specialty stalls.
The road from liangjiadi in Baotashan village to Yunxiu temple is 2.53 km long, with a total investment of 1.8 million yuan. Yunxiu temple has invested 1 million yuan to build the road. Master Fuyuan, the abbot of Yunxiu temple, said that after the completion of the mountain road, it will save a lot of material transportation costs for the maintenance and construction of the temple in the future, and it will also benefit people on one side. The relationship between the temple and the village is mutually beneficial and interdependent. Once the road is repaired, it will be good for both the temple and the village. The Kangzhuang road from Baotashan village to Wukang is also under construction. Luo Zhangxing, Secretary of Baotashan village branch, said that the debris excavated from the mountain road is just used to pave the road at the foot of the mountain. This alone can save more than 1 million yuan for road construction in the village. Yunxiu Temple played an active role in the construction of the two roads.
