Brief introduction of Shenxian Bay
Shenxian Bay is located in Kanas Scenic Area of Buerjin County, Altay area, Xinjiang. It is a shoal formed by Kanas Lake in the low mountain stream. The back light of the lake is shining in the sunlight, like countless pearls. Therefore, it is also called "Pearl Beach". In addition, it is often surrounded by clouds, mountains, lakes and trees. It is like a fairyland, so Shenxian Bay gets its name.
There is a beach about 3 kilometers north of Moon Bay. The river here cuts the forest and grassland into small islands, which are called Shenxian Bay. In fact, it is a swamp shoal formed by Kanas River in the gentle part of the mountain stream. Under the sunlight, the river is shining, and even the leaves on the trees are swaying and shining with the wind. At first glance, it looks like countless pearls are scattered at will. In addition, it is often shrouded in clouds and fog, transcendent and dreamy, which makes people feel like they are in a fairyland.
Characteristics of lake water
Shenxian Bay is a marsh shoal formed by Kanas River in the low part of the mountain stream. Another wonder of its lake water is color changing, which is called "color changing Lake". In spring and summer, the lake will change color with the change of season and weather. From April and may to November, the lake water presents different colors in different seasons. In May, ice and snow melt away, and the lake is dark and blue; in June, the lake becomes light green or blue with the plants in Zhoushan mountain; after July, it is a flood season, and the white water in the upper White Lake replenishes a lot, from green to milky white;
In August, the lake water is dark green affected by rainfall; in September and October, the lake water supply is significantly reduced, the surrounding plants are colorful, and a pool of emerald water is dazzling. The reason for the discoloration of the lake is due to the amount of mineral composition in the upstream river caused by seasonal changes, and it is also related to the different colors reflected in the lake by the surrounding mountain plants with seasonal changes, as well as the influence of the change of sunlight angle and the light and effect of different seasons on the lake water. The main reason is that the water of Kanas Lake comes from the Kanas glacier on the south slope of Youyi peak. When the glacier acts on the surrounding mountains composed of light colored granite, the granite blocks carried by the glacier are squeezed and ground into white fine powder and mixed in the ice layer. In hot summer, the glacier with white fine powder melts, and a large number of milky white glacier melt water and rainwater enter the Kanas river, The milky water of Akekule Lake flows downstream to Kanas Lake, which is the reason why Kanas Lake turns white from July to August.
After freezing in December every year, Kanas Lake is like a white crystal mirror. Local herdsmen use their ploughs to transport goods or ski and skate on the lake. In addition, in different weather, from different angles to see Kanas, special water quality and sky and mountain color refract each other and produce different colors. Because Kanas Lake is surrounded by mountains, under the background of blue sky and white clouds on the plateau, the water of the lake is reflected by the sunlight and clouds, and the surrounding mountains are reflected in the lake. The water of the lake will change with the change of the sky clouds and the alternation of the light and dark of the mountains in the sunlight.
