Fengqing stone cave temple
Fengqing stone cave temple is located in Qingtou village, a Yi Township, 30 kilometers southeast of Fengqing County. It was built in 1794 and rebuilt in 1926. The temple has a main hall, two chambers, arch bridge, lotus pond, double Pavilion and so on.
Shidong temple has 5 buildings and 11 rooms, including main hall, wing room and second room. There is also an ancient camellia tree. It is named Pumen tea with nine pistils and eighteen petals, which is as famous as the temple.
The two pavilions in front of the temple were built between Daoguang and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (about 1848-1853 A.D.), facing each other on two huge stones. They are connected by stone bridges, with arch bridges, flower pools, precipitous terrain and beautiful scenery.
