Founded in 2005 by Mr. Yuan Wener and Mrs. Lisa, a Norwegian Chinese, art is an independent, non-profit cultural and art organization.
Suzhou River Art is located on the Bank of Suzhou River in the Central District of Shanghai. The building was built in 1912 at the end of Qing Dynasty. Fuxin flour mill, originally owned by the Rong family, was later transformed into Shanghai No.1 garment factory, belonging to the "immovable cultural relic" building in Shanghai.
Suhe art building area of 2000 square meters, a total of seven floors, two, three, four floors for exhibition, exhibition hall area of 1000 square meters, the main planning, organization, undertake all kinds of experimental and cutting-edge contemporary art activities at home and abroad, and strive to promote the exchange and cooperation of Contemporary Art at home and abroad.
