It is also known as "Banqing Temple" and "Banqing Temple". It is also known as "bianqin pengcuodajieleng" in Tibetan, which means "bianqin Yuanman Xingwang island", belonging to the gama Gaju school. Human history
Historically, duiduji, the 13th living Buddha of "Gama Gaju black hat", died in bianqin temple in 1797. Some important figures, such as the 16th rebiduji and the ninth Panchen chachinima, once settled in the temple. Before 1958, the temple had 72 pillar Scripture halls, White Tara hall, lotus master hall and successive songjieningba living Buddha pagoda hall, 4 Zen halls, 300 monk houses and more than 500 guard monks. Among them, two gilded copper pagodas and one silver pagoda are the most precious. Approved to open on August 24, 1981, there is now a 20 pillar Sutra hall, 207 monk rooms, with a fixed number of 30 people. There are more than 70 monks. There are 5 horses and 172 cattle in the temple.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the temple was the most prosperous, with more than 600 monks. In the east of the temple, the south of gawaleng Temple ordered saileng, the west of the temple deqinling, and the north of the temple longzhuling. There were four living Buddha's residences, namely Qingmei, Songjie, Ningba, benba, and reda. Among them, bianqin songjininba system is the main living Buddha of the temple, which has been handed down for eight generations, in the order of songjininba, Longbao, Reyu, gelaininbao, gelaijiacuo, geleninbao, zhujiedingdan, xiereningbao and danzengzhique. The first songjieningba, a native of ningbuzhuang in Changdu, studied Buddhist scriptures in Tibet's choupu temple. He once practiced Buddhism in nanmucuo lake. He was once the guanding living Buddha of queyingduoji (1604-1674), the tenth living Buddha of gamagaju black hat system. It is said that many temples of gamagaju sect chanted "Ode to gamagapa" first In the Ming Dynasty, he was responsible for the ferry of Tongtian River, and the Ming court once granted him an ivory seal.
