Shaxi is located in the middle of Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, 50 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. The Shanghai Nanjing Expressway opens up an exit here. It takes only 30 minutes from Shanghai to Shaxi. Shaxi is a water town with a long history, unique scenery and rich products. It is known as "Eighteen towns in the southeast, the first town in Shaxi". Historical and cultural remains are very rich: there are a large number of waterfront buildings and long ancient streets, deep ancient alleys and ancient bridges. Shaxi commune was established in 1958, divided into districts in 1984 and established as a town in 1986. Shaxi Town is located in the west of the city, bordering Shiqi city in the East. It is adjacent to Dacong town in the southwest, Henglan Town in the west, Tanbei town in Dongsheng Town in the north and Shalang town in the west, Qijiang River in the South and Zhongshan second and third bridges in the south.
